Hello, I got my H1 on October of 2008 from Employer A. Then I transferred to Employer B. While working for Employer B I visited India and stayed for four months during end of 2011 (from August 23 to December 24). Then I stayed in US from from 25th of December 2011 till 2nd week of June 2013. So now I have another year and half approximately on the 6 year period of my H1, left. My H1 with Employer B expired on December of 2013. Can I use this H1 now (in December 2014 or Jan 2015) to transfer to another company? Will there be any complications?

H1B 221g issued at Hyderabad
Hello All,
My client is some AAA for my employer, but suddenly i gave answer of my current employer client BBB.
Now VO is asking client letter of BBB i tried to convinced VO but she didnt care my words and final gave 221g form to submit client letter which i am unable to submit client letter of BBB.
Shall i submit the same client letter of AAA along with my 221g form. Please help guys what i have to do now.
And procedure to submit 221g and how many days it will take. Thanks in advance !

H1B Experience and Waiting on Administrative Progress
First of all I would like to thank everyone who shared their experience here which gave great confident to attend the interview.
I had attended the interview on 28-August-2014 in Chennai consulate along with my wife and kid. There was only few questions asked like current employer name, US employer name, client name, my years of experience, Current Salary and current designation. Apart from this VO was very casual and was playing with my 3 year old kid who carried small car. We were very confident that we are going to hear the GOLDEN WORD. But it didnt happen till the end. Finally VO said "Sorry I couldnt able to approve your visa right now. Please wait for an update from us through mail or SMS" and collected all the documents provided by the employer.
Its been 70+ days and I have not got any update from Consulate in mail or SMS. Since then, I was checking the status everyday in "https://ceac.state.gov/". The status remains the same as "Administrative Progressing". The last updated date changed twice as 02-Sep-14 and 27-Oct-14. But I didnt get any update on or after those dates.
I need assistance from the expertise for my below queries.
* Can I ask the status by sending an email to [email protected].
* Is it safe to send mail and will it impact in anyway on my progress status?
* If it is safe to send an email, what should be the content that i should send so it will be polite and polish.

Question on H4 Stamping
Hi Gurus,
My wife have H4 stamping on Dec 2nd. I have all the documents but I think I lost my wife H4 I-797A Original, I do have a soft copy of I-797A and also have I-797C original. Will this be an issue if we don't have H4 I797 original.

My experience at Mumbai consulate
Hi All,
Below is my experience for VISA interview dated 10-Nov in Mumbai.
The VISA interview was very smooth and was asked only 3 questions.
1: For how long are you working in current company
2: Where would you work in US? Employer or Client?
3: Where is your Client and what it does?
That' it and then he said your visa is approved. Did not take more than 2 minutes and was not asked for any documents.

H1B PA on 14 Nov, PLEASE HELP ME, TIME IS LESS FOR ME...

First of all I wish everyone who got their visa's stamped and for those who got 221G slip and for those whose case is in "Admin Process", I pray to god that their visa's get approved ASAP.
Ok let me come to my issue now. :-(
I am currently working for a IT giant in India. They filed me H1B and got visa and it got expired also. But the petition is valid for 6 years. So with the help of that, I processed a new H1B petition with a new employer in US. It got approved and now my visa interview is on coming Friday 14-Nov-2014.
This is the story. The thing is, the employer has provided me the following only,
1. Appointment letter.
2. Visiting Card or Business Card
3. Original approved Petition
4. Tax documents
5. Document related to their attorney filing my case to USCIS.
6. I-129 Copy.
7. LCA Copy.
8. Documents related to their company benefits like medical insurance, paid vactions etc., Employee evaluation form.
Following are missing:
1. Client letter
2. Project description
When I aksed about the same to my employer, he said that, if the VO asks for the above just tell "it is a new employment, I will be working for different clients/projects from my employers location.
Please let me know whether the VO accepts the above answer. Is there any chance of getting visa refusal.

if your project is in-house do carry the project description document.
--> Three weeks after my interview i emailed all the required documents.
--> One month after my submission of documents my case was updated in CEAC.STATE.GOV---> Visa status.
--->One week after the above step happened, I escalated the my case by calling the customer care number starting with 040[I guess it is Hyderabad code] and, i did get a automated mail stating case is in " Administrative process". which i know already.
---> One week after the above step i got an email[also update in my status] asking to submit my passport @nearest visa application center, I did submit docs @ Bangalore VAC .
---> Now its already a week i submitted my passport and, my status still shows in "admin process".
1. Do carry project description doc and Employers[company you work IT returns]
2. Keep checking your email and visa status at least once every week.
3. Be frank to the VO and don't be too technical while explaining about the project or your role in proj as . they get confused and will ask you more documents or questions.
