Will holding an unused F1 visa create any problem while attending a H1B visa interview?
I live outside the US and work for an MNC. I had plans of doing my MS in the fall this year (2014) and got my F1 visa stamped in the month of May (2014). Later I had a change of mind and decided to continue at my work.So, I just deferred my admission to Spring (2015) as I found it hard to let my admission go away. Meanwhile, H1B petition that was processed by my employer was Approved by USCIS and I'm now planning to attend a H1B interview this week. I would like to know
1. Have I violated any immigration laws? Is it legal to attend two interviews in the same year?
2. What are the possible issues that I would face during my H1B visa interview?
Note: I have not traveled using my F1 visa

221(g) update
Hi All,
I have a question. I attended Visa PA in chennai on August 4. I got a 221(g) requesting for project description.
It has been under administrative processing all this time. Response was submitted on August 30.
My employer followed up yesterday with the consulate. He got a response asking me to drop off the passport at any of the drop off locations. It appears that it is requested for stamping but there is no clarity.
CEAC tracker website still shows my case is undergoing adminstrative processing.
This is kinda confusing. I will obviously go to the drop off center tomorrow and check.
Anybody else out there, who had a similar situation or came across someone having a similar situation.
Appreciate your help.

I have cleared my visa interview on 10th OCT in Chennai. Don't worry guys there wont be any rejections for H1-B I am sure.
Me: Good Morning Sir.
VO : No response and just watched my ID which i wear.
VO : Passport Please.
Me: Submitted.
VO : Where are going to work company or client?
Me: I will be working at my employer Location.
VO : Your VISA Is Approved know your rights in US and has given a white pamphlet.
Me: thanks

H1b interview
Hi All,
My employer is small company having about 15 employees in US. When i saw the petition documents it was mentioned number of employees as 15. But when i spoke with my employeer what should i say if VO ask me how many employees are working in the company.
He said you should say there are 15 employees are present and 25 independent consultants are working.
Whether i can mention 25 independent consultants are working is it required. If I say any problem at the time of interview.
Please help me

Suggestion: Please be confident and be before 30 minutes of scheduled time and please do ensure all documents are proper.
I have not mentioned about OFC appointment as it is already posted by many others.

Make sure you carry photographs in mentioned format for all applicants. Officer had tough time capturing my son and finally clicked it from his existing photo.
Better to be there not more than 15 min before your appointment time.

Regarding Petition
My petition has been approved. i am going to schedule my consulate appointment in next 1-2 week.
I have found some doubt in my petition. I will work on H1 in US on Home location and in petition mentioned location is same as my company home location.
But in supplement of I-129 it is mentioned that i will work on my client location.I discussed with US attorny he said it will not create any issue because form clearly mention about home location address.
Its type in supplement and i can explain to consulate to its a typo only.
Can someone suggest me will it make any difference in my Hi consulate interview?

Visa Officer taken LCA, Approved Petition and given back Passport ang given 221(g) by ticking (X) administrative processing.
told that some more time needed for processing your application ,maximum of 60 days.
Please check the status online.
But it's already crossed 60 days but the status is not changed.
Please suggest what need to do now. DO i need to call Consulate?. How to approch.
