H1B, H4 Visa

Hi Folks,

I was about to schedule my h1b visa interview but

In the supporting document (Proposed Job Duties for the position) of i-129 , i found few discrepancies

1>my degree is mentioned wrong it is mentioned as bachelor of engineering where as I have done bachelor of technology.

2>University name has typo

3>my previous employment designation is mentioned wrong.

Please advise what needs to be done.

On 29 oct , My dream come true. My petition has been approved. Thanks to everyone who gives me such a wonderful information.

Big thanks to immihelp. This helped me to boost my confidence for H1B visa interview. I had two L1B blanket rejections earlier. So bit nervious.

OFC process is same as mentioned by other. Now coming to main interview

My token displayed against window 27. Before me, there were 2 ladies. First lady got white 221(g). Second lady's visa got approved. Now came the my turn. VO gave me a hand signal to come forward.
It was a 1 minute quick fire round.Below are the questions asked by VO. VO was a very beautifull lady :)

VO : Hey
Me : Good Morning Officer

VO : Please pass your pasport
Me : Passed the passport

VO : Who is your employeer ?
Me : XYZ

VO : Who is your client ?
Me : ABC

VO : How much they will pay you ?
Me : $ YYYY X per annum

VO : What you are going to work as ?
Me : I am going to work as computer programmer. Also told her about the responsibilities.

VO : When did you got married ?
Me : x yrs and y months back. Told her the actual date

VO : Did you got this while pamplet today ?
Me ; No

VO passed while pamplet and told me to read before you enter US. You visa is approved and you will get the passport in 2-5 business days. I said thank you and left the counter

No questions to my wife.
I check the visa status in the evening on the uscis site and it say's issued.

I am filling my DS-160 form for h1b visa.Please help me answering the following questions.

a.Person/entity paying for your trip. As, my h1b is petitioned by another company and not the current company I am working with, I am confused weather to choose US petitioner or other company.

b. Course of study (secondary level or above ) I have written "Class 10th to Class 12th (Academic)" am I correct or should I only write "Academic" and from the year of attendance they will get the classes I am talking of.

Note:- I have done my schooling in India.

Then asked my I797 and told me to wait for a second. Officer went inside to check something and came back in few minutes and returned my H1 petition and said my visa is approved and gave me white pamphlet.

Hi,
I got my h1b petition approved with one year validity which expires on nov 30 2013 and didnt go for stamping. Now my employer wants me to travel and sending for visa stamping. So is there any chance for rejection at consulate since the validity less than a month. Someone please clarify.

Hi..I have been reading this forum for more than a month now as I am preparing for my H1B visa interview and I feel it is great forum ask my doubt. My question is : Should the designation at offshore office(my employer who is sending me on the onsite deputation) and the designation for which I will be traveling at the client place be the same? Similarly should the role with the offshore employer be the same at the client place? This question is with regard to H1B visa.
Will there be any issues if we are doing a different role at the offshore office and traveling for a different role at the client place? Please confirm. Thank you.
