Little about the Background.

My OFC was at chennai on 13th March

It was very simple and cool....Hardly took 30 minutes from IN to OUT...

Verified DS 160, issued the token, Went to the Counter, Provided Passport and DS-160 confirmation, Asked my full name, DOB, Photo Taken, Finger printer captured and thats it.

PA on 14th March 9 AM. Actually i have to make 2 seperate appointment for me 1 as i did not mentioned my dependent list and without knowing that i paid my visa fees. Later i made one more appointment for my wife and kid.
But luckily we both got the PA at the same time slot.

When the token was about to issued at the counter, i asked if they can club both the appointment as they are my dependent and they clubbed both into one and issued me a 'P' token as i took my kid for the interview.

Went inside, all formal security check and then waiting for my token to be called in. The person in the counter bundled my passport, DS-160 in one and My petition approval, LCA and other docs in another. Then i was asked to go to someother counter where an American lady scanned the BARCODE sticked behind all of our passport and then took our finger prints again.

Now the final stage. Our Token was displayed and waiting in the counter as someone was there already in the counter with VO.

Greetings Exchanged.

VO: How are you doing?
ME: Absolutely fine, thanks and how about you?
VO: I'm good
VO: Give me your passport
ME: Gave all 3 passports
VO: Where are going?
ME: Place and State
VO: Working with "X" Company?
ME:Yes
VO:Are they transferring you?
ME:No, Its a new job
VO: Which company you are going to work there?
ME:Answered
VO:What do they do?
ME:Answered

VO then looking at the screen and extended his hand and took the white pamphlet from the other side and i was very happy and was sure he is going to approve my Visa.

Then finally the golden words came " I am approving your Visa" and asked me to read the Pamphlet before i travel

No question was asked to my wife :)

The interview was less then 2 mins...

All the best for all who are going for stamping!!!!

Be Confident and you will get the Visa for sure.

H1B rejected in 2012.Can I apply again in 2013
Hello everyone,

I am working for 'X' company in Bangalore and the same company wanted me to join their headquarters in US for an internal project . I got my petition approved on Oct 4th '12. Attended interview on Nov 21st and got 221 G.

Got an email from the HYD Consulate stating the denial of my petition.

My employer wants to again file the petition for H1B for the same project this year.
Please let me know if its a good idea to reapply this year.

Thanks in advance

H1B and H4 approved in Chennai on March 7th
I attended my visa interview on March 7th.

Back Ground -

B1 visa approved and travelled to US 6 times.
L1B rejected 2 times. (2009 and 2011)
L1A petetion not approved in USCIS. (2010)
H1B - RFE and it got resolved.

Went to Interview along with my wife and kid.

Questions asked -

Have you worked in US before - (I said NO and told that I went previously for design discussions).
What is your highest degree?
Who is your client?
What is your salary in US?

He gave me white phamphlet.

Questions to my wife as my son is 11 months old.

How long have you been married?
What is the age of your kid?
Where did he born?
Which Hospital?

He gave another template to her to go through before travel.

VO told that our visa got approved.

In the same day when we tracked the DS160, it was "Issued" for me and my wife. My kid's application was in "Adminstrative Processing". Next day it changed to "Issued"

Confidence and Patience matters. Prepare well for the frequently asked questions.
