Can we fill more than one DS-160, in case if we found any error with earlier one
Today I have filled DS-160 form for visa application and got confirmation with bar code. I filled near by city as my place of birth, instead of village, where in I was born and the same is also appearing in my passport. With my own interpretation I did this. But I have no chance now to correct it. Can I explain the same, by seeing city name I have filled up near by city to my birth place, if officer raises this. Other wise can I fill another DS-160 for making this correction. The thing here is I did not pay visa fee till now and got Bank CGI reference number for cash payment for visa fee, while indicating DS-160 confirmation page bar code.
What to do now. Can we fill more than one Ds-160 form, if in case we found any error in the submitted DS-160 form, to make to correct it.
Please help me in this regard.
Thanks in advance
Sirish

Please help me clarify my queries mentioned below.
1. My L1B was rejected in June 2011. Will it have any impact on my H1B? What all additional questions will they ask on my L1 rejection? FYI, My client is the same.
2. Also before approving my petition the USCIS asked for employer-employee relationship, so along with my I797 I have I29, LCA and the copy of proof related documents which were submitted by my employer. Shall I give it all to the Visa officer during my interview?
3. Are there any tips to get rid of Pre-interview panic attack or cold feet. I don’t know but I tend to go in that mode before interview in waiting area. Same thing happened in my L1B Visa interview. Tips would really be helpful :-)
4. My interview is on Monday morning.

H 1B Administrative Processing
I have attended US Hyderabd consulate on Jan 11 for H 1 B extension. I am in USA since the last 7 years. This H1 extension is based on I 140. After all the Inetrview, VO had given me a white 221 g slip indicating Admin processing required to further decide.

Any idea how long this takes. i heard the streamlining of these cases is implemented these days but not sure how transparent the status of our cases are. Any help appreciated

H4 to H1 Stamping in India (Mumbai)
I went for h1 Visa stamping ( I had H4 and then I converted to H1)

On 7th Jan, there was finger printing process which took 15- 20 mins

On 8th Jan, Visa officer took my documents including I 797.

He asked me:
Are you currently working?
When you started working?
Who is your Employer?
Which Client you are working for?
Which city?
What is your highest qualification?
Which University?
What is your Pay?

He asked me recent pay stubs... (he didnt ask me for any other doc, varies case to case)

He again asked me about my starting date of work..
Are you married?

after 5-10 min he approved my Visa and I collected my passport from my city.

I only had 3 months Pay stubs.

I think confidence and proper documents matters most.
