H1B Stamped at New Delhi
First of all i want to that Everyone who posted their experience here. It helped a lot to me to prepare for my interview and gaining good knowledge and confidence...
My H1B got stamped at US Embassy New Delhi... Below was my experience:

Time slot was 10:15 .. Reached embassy around 9AM.

Entered US embassy at 10:15.
1. First They took our HDFC bank receipts and give us a token Number.
2. We are then directed to a queue to wait for our Token No.
3. When you token no. is displayed. We have to go to a counter where there was a lady. She verified my H1B details. After that she wrote petition type like mine was a BEP program so she wrote BEP on my covering letter.
4. Then we were directed to Finger printing. We gave all our Fingerprints and then waited for my token no. for Visa interview.

Finally after 5 minutes. my No. was displayed and i reached the counter.
VO was a lady. She approved 2 and rejected 1 Visa before me.(that's what i figured out from the expressions of ppl). She asked me below questions:

VO: Good MOrning Sir!
me: Good Morning mam!.. With a smile and confidence.

VO: Are you working for YYYY company?
me: Yes mam

VO: Who is your client?
ME: YYY

VO: Is it the first time you are applying for H1B visa?
ME: Yes man. This is the first time.

and then comes the Magic words.. You'r Visa is approved. You'll get your passport in 5 days.

As per my experience, key is the confidence, proper documents and know your details thoroughly. They can ask anything.
I wish best of Luck to all ppl who are waiting for Visa.
See you America!!.. :)

Officer was a young lady and the case prior to mine was a L1 that was Approved.

Officer: Good Morning, How are you?
Me: I'm good Thanks. How are you?

Officer: What do you do?
Me: Blah..

Officer: How long have you been working for the same employer?
Me: Blah..

H1B Visa Interview @8.00 AM on 10th Jan
Hi All,

Just got over with my interview and a successful outcome. Thanks to this forum.

Interview questions were very few to me like:
Me: Good Morning Sir!
VO: Good Morning, how are you?
Me: Doing good sir and handed over my petition and passport.
VO: So what you do here?
Me: I work for company ABC as a ....
VO: Where are you going?
Me: Told the location.
VO: Have you ever applied for Visa?
Me: Yes sir and gave other details .
VO: So whom will you report in US?
Sir: Gave the answer.
VO: Whats your Highest qualification?
Me: Bachelor of Science in engineering (Metallurgy).
I was full of confidence and was sure I have made it.
VO: shown the white paper and asked have you seen this?
Me: Yes sir with happiness.
VO: Your Visa is approved, wish you to excel in your career.
Me: Thank Sir, have a wonderful day ahead.

I was the fourth one in the queue, 1st two got rejected (probably B1 Visa). The person who was infront of me made the VO angry as he was asking to repeat questions multiple times. I was behind him was unable to understand but still VO had to repeat it like 3-4 times which made him angry...His interview went for 20 minutes and finally he also got through.. Then my turn came and I was with confused feeling but mine went for 1-2 minutes. So don't be afraid by seeing others. The interview varies from case to case.

Just be calm, confident and honest. If you are genuine and have proper documentation then your success chance is 99.9% for H1B.

You can expect below questions:
1. Roles/ Responsibilities.
2. Salary in US
3. Where you will work.
4. Educational qualification.
5. Whom will you report?
6. For whom do you work for,
7. Your experience.
8.Client name.
9. About previous Visa
10. About the project...

Hope the above will help others.

H4 Visa Interview - Mumbai Consulate Feb 6th
Interview was really simple and straight forward. Got over in less than 3 minutes. No documents verified by Visa Officer. Questions as below -

1. What does your wife do as **** ** Analyst in **** Company?

Ans - Explained her job.

2. How did you meet your wife?

Ans - We went to same school. (I was on F1 in US. She verified the visa)

3. Is this your first H4 ?

Ans- Yes

4. Did you have H1B visa before?

Ans - Yes. I received 221g and my visa was sent back to USCIS for review. (I was stuck in india for over 6 months with 221g)

5. What is your wife's salary?
Ans - $ **** *** per annum.

6. Since when are you married?

Ans - Gave marriage date.

7. Was it a love/arrange marriage?
Ans - Provided answer.

Verdict - Congratulations ! I am approving your visa, you will get passport in 3 days.

Tip -

1. Even though none of my documents were checked, it is strongly recommended to carry all documents from your spouse and your personal tax returns, paystubs etc as well. I noticed an officer at another window asking for these documents for H4 interview.
2. Practise....practise...practise is the thumb rule ! Practise all possible qns/answers as much time as possible. This will give you a confidence while appearing for interview.
3. Be polite and provide exact answers as per your application letter. Have an explanation ready for each answer if officer decides to turn the tables on you.

Wish everyone best of luck !
