Successful VISA stamping at Chennai
First i want to thank this site and everyone who have posted there visa experience.
My intereview was in the morning , and that was an advantage.
After the finger printing (waited for 15 min) i was directed to the next building with the green folder.
There there was not much rush, i was told to stand in the queue for the interview (I was really not aware thats the queue for the final interview).
after 10 to 15 min my turn came ,and the interview went like this.
ME: Good morning Sir
VO: Good Moring , how are you doing,
ME: Fine sir
then he was typing something (for a minute)in the system before he had taken my folder
VO: Took the folder checked my passport , I797 and asked what you are doing in your current company
ME : I am working as team lead bla, bla...
VO: How do know about the US company
ME: from job site (Dice), i have posted my resume and i got a call
VO: No interview
ME : there were 2 rounds of interview and then they offered me the job.
VO: what is the project and what you will be doing ?
ME : explaned about the project in 2 lines and my responsibilites in another 2 lines
VO: How does it matche your current job
ME: explaned that the projects which i did at the starting of career are similar to the one i am going to do.
VO: How many employees are there in US company
ME: As per my knowlegde 27 including H1 holders and local guys.
then he was typying something in the system (by observing the letters he typed on the keyboard , i can make out he checking the web site of my US company)
VO: DO you know anyone in this company
ME: No sir
then he was typing something again in the sytem for long time (might be 2-3 minutes)
I was getting nervous...
He told me to place my thumb for finger printing ..
then the golden words
VO: your application is approved and u will get ur passport through courier
ME: thankyou sir, Have a nice day
VO: thankyou
He didnot ask for single document , i didnot even open the files which i took with me

Any one get visa stamping after u got 221g

Atteneded visa interview on last month,I got 221(g)in that, they are asking for USCIS document. Could you please suggest me on that. Should anybody get visa stamping after 221g.

Regarding 221(g) blue paper
Hi all,
I have attended an interview on sept 25th 2007 at Chennai for H1B.VO has not satisfied with my work experience and Indian Company.He said at the end of the interview that i am not sure about your work experience and your company,I have to confirm whether your company is there or not and issued me 221(g)blue paper stating "Additional Administrative Processing required".After a month the consulate people came to my Indian company,They asked so many questions to my HR manager.
On 6th Dec 2007 i got a courier from Chennai consulate.They issued me a 221(g) blue paper,in that he stated that"Additional Information Required" and checked the point like please drop your Original passport and other docs including H4 certificates also.
what does it mean? Is there any chance to reject my visa?please anyone help me on this issue.

Hi,
My wife is in Inida. We got married a month before i came to US. Now its almost 7 months from now. She is planning to go for H4 visa. She wants to come here only after her cousin's marriage.
Her cousin marraige was over last month. We are trying to book the appointment. Am planning to go to inida in the month of March.
Can i take her to consulate when am there?
Do they allow me inside?
What are the questions she may expect?
