Hi,
Can you please share your mexico trip experience with me?
I have an appointment in the morning 8:00 same like you in nogales,mexico.
But bank opens at 9:00 clock, so will it a problem if i go late to
consulate after my appointment time like around 9:30.

Thanks for all of the great postings.
I have booked my slot in end of dec.
I would like to know what is the last date for editing the DS forms .When will be the vfs site disable us from editing the forms.I heard from my employer that we can edit till the last 4 days of ur appointment.

221g blue
I am srilatha. I went to Chennai on nov15. I was issued by 221 g blue. He ticked all the docs from petitioner side…..if I drop the all doc (what ever he ticked)when they will responding… with in one week, two weeks… or months or years…… anybody in this situation.. I told with my employer/// may be he will send all the doc in Dec first week…
If drop second week of December … is there any chances to get visa before new year.. I mean at least January ending… can anybody let me know the details about 221g blue and time duration…..

Hi,
I had undergone my interview at chennai consulate.All my petitioner wage reports and financial documents were taken by the officer.He said we need to check these documents and will contact you in few days.This checking means will they check in chennai itself or will they send to USCIS.Please let me know.He has issued 221 (g) blue form with the option additional administrative processing required ticked. How can i track the status.B'coz the online we can only track pink 221 (g) status and not blue one.

Successfull H1 B stamping @ Chennai consulate
Hi All,
My slot is at 9.15 AM. I have reached consulate by 8 AM. First there will be a long queue is there outside the consulate. It took around 1 hour to get into consulate. Next one simple security check was there where the security people will check for electronic goods and other cieled covers. Next there was another counter where documnet verification was there. By seeing counters i thought that is only final interview place. But it was a counter where some indian employees will be sitting and arrange the docs and will put them in a small folder. Nest there will be another queue where we need to wait to enter into main building where visa interviews will be taking. There i had wait for 45 min. Next after entering in to main building there will be counters which will be railway ticket counters. First two counters they will take finger prints and then they will ask us to stand in a queue. In that queue it took 3 hours for me to reach VO.
Finally my interview started.....
Vo is an American guy.
Me:Hai
Vo:Hai, how r u
Me:I am fine, how abt u
Vo:Fine
Vo:What is your educational qualification
Me:Sorry (I didn't understand his accent)
Vo:Repated the question
Me:Sorry i didn't get you
Vo:Repeated the question again
Me:Batchlor of Technology in Computer scince
Vo:He checked the system for some time
Vo:Can i see your degree cetificate
Me:Given the same
Vo:He checked the certificate
Vo:Are you going to work in an Inhouse project
Me:Yes

Every will be telling be confident. You should be confident in such a way that you will get visa at any cost...

i got 221 (g) blue form from chennai . I need some infrmation from u r side .

3)he kept all the documents with them ( I 797, I 129 , LCA , company tax douments , quartely wage reports of 2007 , ds156, ds 157 )
i cant understand why he kept all these .

Query regarding correction in DS-156
Hi ,
My visa appointment date is on 5th Dec 2007. Unfortunately i have entered incorrect passport expiry date in DS-156 form. When i try to edit the form in VFS, i am unable to edit the details.
Can any one tell me how to rectify this issue?
I tried by sending a query to chennai consulate they replied that i can correct before consulate officer but final decision is taken by consulate officer, he may reject Visa also.. if required.
Any body has faced simlar situation, please let me know. Your guidance is highly appreciated.
