Hi All,
My company is applying L1B for me and during documentation they are asking for supporting letters , certificate for specialized skill . Now I am working with same company since last 6 years and it's an internal tool on which I was trained by internal employees only and no certificate or supporting documents are available .
Now does it really matters during interview if you don't have any supporting documents .

Have created a tool which I have not written in support letter

My L1b interview is on 3rd oct. In the support letter I have not mentioned a tool which i developed but wrote a line what the tools does . Can i tell that as my specialisation and explain the tool?

I am going to USA on L1A visa and my wife on L2 dependent VISA.
She will apply for EAD. Can you please guide on how much time is it taking nowadays to get the EAD?

I have a L1A extension visa interview coming up in Canada. I wanted to check how to answer GC related questions. I have an approved EB1 i140 so if the Visa officer asks about GC plans/return plans, how should I answer?

L1 B Individual - Interview in other consulate
Hello Everyone,
My L1 B Individual petition got approved and in the approval notice it is mentioned as "Notification has been sent to the listed Consulate". which is Hyderabad consulate.
The first available appointment date is Dec 9, 2019 and my team wants me to join ASAP.
I see that in Mumbai consulate the first available appointment date is Oct 21, 2019.
is it fine for me to attend the visa interview in Mumbai along with my family and not in Hyderabad.
I am little worried as no one from my company has scheduled an interview in Mumbai.
Look forward to your responses. I will be booking an appointment tomorrow.

Many thanks for the great help on the visa topics. I got immensely benefitted by it.
I attended my blanket L1A visa interview today. 19.09.2019 at 10.00 am in Chennai.
I was with my wife and 2 yo angel.
Due to my daughter, got preference in ques in 3 places.
Interview started at 10.30 am and got over in 5 mins.
On reaching, VO sees my daughter, smiles and says, she is cute. She must have picked the dress herself ... I said , she picked th shoes :) exchanged smiles.... ( I felt confident that well begun is half done)
VO: where would your office be located?
My answer : YYYY in NY State
VO: so you will be working for your own company and not for a client.?
My answer : Yes
VO: and whats your salary going to be ?
My answer : ZZZK $ (upwards of 150K incl. bonus)
VO: so you are here for an L1B?
My answer: No, it's for L1A.
VO then double checks the I129S and starts asking about my role...
I am into general management and moving to a global role in company HQ. I explain that to him
VO: how many reportees would you have ?
My answer ; 3 direct, have to ramp up to 5. Additional 15 functional reportees in various zones elsewhere.
VO then stamps my I129S as approved to L1A and gives back 2 copies.
During the interview , whenever the VO was typing, i kept playing with my daughter, helped me appear calm and not too eager for the approval stamp.
Overall I beleive the following worked :
1) my company credentials ( multinational conglomerate)
2) my salary
3) my daughter
4) my composure and smile.

Is there a requirement for a person to be in Manager role for 1 Year before applying for L1A Individual petition ?
Suppose a person is currently working in India since 4 Years, but I have been promoted as Manager 8 months back. Is he eligible for applying for L1-A Individual ?
What is the evidence submitted to USCIS to show above criteria ? Thanks in advance

Hi
I have appeared for L1b visa stamping in chennai and It went well I answered correctly VO took my passport and said it will be processed in 5-6 business working days also she gave me blue slip stating visa is approved also she stamped one set of I129S & I797 form as Approved
Now
Ceac showing status as "Administrative Processing"
any idea what the reason

L1 A individual Extension Denied. When Can I file for a visa again
