Atlanta oci Adult new application
Sent application to ckgs on Sep 30th
Ckgs received on oct 1st, verified and transferred to Atlanta consulate on oct3rd
On Oct 4th US passport dispatched back to CKGS and I received passport on Oct7
On OCT 25th Received text message saying OCI Card and Renunciation certificate is at sorting facility at CKGS -being processed to deliver
I paid for FedEx overnight while filling application , Hope will receive my OCI card by Monday oct 28th
Thankyou all for those who shared their experiences, it was very helpful to get an estimate how long will it take.

OCI experience at SFO center
Hi All,
I applied for OCI card for my 1 year old kid.. Just wanted to check how's the current experience at SFO center..
For my 5 year old Son's passport, it was quick..
Just Thumbs up for Good and received card in 1 month and down for delayed / regular 60 days time.
Just want to make sure and get confidence about booking tickets in advance.

OCI for newborn - NYC CGI

Birth Certificate - Apostilled
Seems like they really want a copy of apostilled birth certificate, I was able to send them again.
I hope they make changes to the OCI form at CKGS or atleast make the letters RED in color to highlight the word "Apostilled", in CKGS form.
It is literally mentioned once in small black and white letter.
