The September 2023 visa bulletin showed no change from the previous months. This is disappointing for many immigrants who are waiting to file for permanent residency in the United States. However, there is some hope that there may be movement in October 2023 for EB1, 2, and 3 categories. These categories are for immigrants with extraordinary ability, advanced degrees, or exceptional skills. If there is movement in these categories, it would be a positive sign that the visa bulletin is starting to move again.
The following September 2023 visa bulletin was released by the U.S. Department of State. The dates in the visa bulletin represent the earliest priority date that will be processed during the month the visa bulletin is issued. Certain high demand countries, such as China (Mainland born), India, Mexico, and Philippines have a much longer wait time compared to the rest of the world (ROW).
