Hi, I filed the application for N400 on December 27th 2020, did not receive anything about biometrics yet, this is what I see on my page:
Estimated wait time:
We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time.
Estimated case completion time
September 2021 (8 months)
Does anyone know if this estimated case completion time means that the entire process will be finished by that time? What is that mean?
it looks like a pretty short time for the Newark office...should i believe it? LOL

This site has helped me a lot in my journey to citizenship hence I wanted to share my experience.
My wife and I had interview on same day and time but interviewed separately.
Approximately timelines..
N400 application - 21 Dec 2019
Biometric - 15 Jan 2020
Interview date - 21 Jan 2021
Location SJ
Had very good interview experience. Officer was really nice and professional. Went through questions from application form specially part 12. He asked 6 questions for Civic test.

Two National holidays
What is last date to file taxes
When was constitution written
One right only for citizens
Asked to read a sentence and write one sentence. Pretty easy of those. In the end he said those golden words “congratulations you are approved”.
We have carried all the supporting documents which we submitted online but none was asked. Only documents asked were Passport/GC/interview letter/DL(govt issued ID).

N400 oath ceremony Newark NJ
Hello everyone, I just had my interview today and I passed everything but the wait time was very long but the interview itself was less that 10 minutes. By the time I was interviewed they had already finished all the ceremonies for the day and the officer told me that I’ll get rescheduled but she don’t know what’s the estimate wait time but they told her about 2 months!! Does anybody have a similar situation like that? Please tell me because it would help me a lot. Thank you!

Now a citizen
So I went for my interview last week, and now a citizen. I have been having this disturbing feeling to post my experience so it can encourage other people in the process. So I applied for citizenship July 2020 (military based) but I was on a 2 year temporary green card then that was supposed to expire in October last year. Prior to the citizenship application, I have been having problems with my wife, and despite me trying to make our marriage work, she filed for divorce in August and we got completely divorced in November. By then my temporary 2 years greencard was expired. In December I got an interview notice for January, then I was so down in the spirit because of the situation I was in (expired temporary greencard and now divorced). How do I explain to the interviewer?? What will happen??? The interview came, I took along the evidence I have and also the court summon for the divorce. We started the interview, i was asked if I was still married, I said no that I'm divorced, she asked what happened and I replied with a brief summary and showed her the court summon. She looked through and went to the civic test, I passed the 6 question and she went to the English test which I passed. Then she said I passed the interview and will approve my case. She asked if I will like to take my oath the same day or come on a later date, I hurriedly replied that I will wait lol. Few hours later I took the oath and I was given my certificate of Naturalization. I hope this will serve as a motivation to you all that are still in the process. Hi everybody, I received a call from tier 2 officer( I made a request for expedite my case). After hang up I received one email with referral ID. Now my question is that what does it mean and what I have to do.
Now I am worried becoz I escargot in online and see until the decision made my case is hold and after decision is made ( denied) then I have to wait long time because it will start from beginning. Please answer me if anybody faced same problem. Thanks in advance.

So, now I finally received my notice. My I751 interview was scheduled for March 3,2021. Lol. My N400 has been scheduled for February 01, 2021. I don’t know what’s going to happen. But, I’m going to show up. I’ll keep you all updated.

interview/ oath question
I finally got my interview letter! Yay!
I just have a question regarding interview / oath at Newark office. My manager , who got her citizenship years ago said that interview and oath are done at the same date. However, my quick browse thru the immihelp shows that most have their oath ceremony scheduled for a different date after interview. Is that still a case for Newark? Or is it different for each office?

Waiting for Oath ceremony appointment - Dallas
I appeared for citizenship interview at Irving office in Dallas on 22nd Dec. It's almost 4 weeks since the interview and I haven't still received any status update for oath ceremony date. Anyone who appeared for interview in Dec and waiting for oath ceremony to be scheduled?
I didn't have any name change.

Estimated case completion time disappeared after interview
I have attended my interview on 11-Jan-2021 and officer approved my case. The case status immediately changed within 10 min to "Oath Ceremony will be scheduled".
However, since then both "Estimated Case Completion Time" and "Estimated Wait Time" disappeared.
Did anyone else have this issue?
