Finally a US CITIZEN
I wanted to share my experience

Applied March 2018
Biometric April 2018
Interview October 2018
After that I got the paper that said a decision couldn't be made at that time
Next day I checked my online account and it said case was approved, then it changed again to you attended your interview.
I kept submitting case inquiries, requesting to speak to officers and then nothing was happening.
I was told oath was scheduled twice and canceled twice and i wasn't given any reason and it didn't show up on my online account either.
I was gonna take it to my congress man and then corona hit so i decided to wait but through that time, i was submitting case inquiries.
Finally i got an email saying that an action had been taken and when i checked they had added more time to the case completion time.
The same week i got an another email saying action had taken and then when i checked my oath had been scheduled.
Today July 9th i went for my ceremony and Im finally a citizen.
My field office was FAIRFAX FIELD OFFICE BTW.
Im opened to answer any questions.

N400 - Chicago
Hi everyone,

I just thought I should share my experience with people who are losing hope.

I applied for my N400 October, 2019
Biometrics- Oct 2019
Interview Feb 24 2020, I was asked for RFE which I submitted on Feb 25, 2020

I heard nothing back until June 16, 2020
June 16, you attended your interview, application approved. You are in line for oath ceremony
July 7, Oath letter mailed

There is always light at the end of the tunnel.

By the way, I applied for my citizenship in 2018 but it was denied because I applied 90 days before I was due to apply. Whereas, there was a date error on my PR card which I never knew until I applied and got denied.

Update from NC
I know how some of you might be anxious about your rescheduling; I have a ray of hope for all of you.

We filed our N400 on 26th Dec after 5 yrs of green card and had our biometrics done in early Jan 2020 at Charlotte, NC.
Afterwards, interview for my wife was scheduled on 23rd April, which was cancelled on 2nd April; my interview was never scheduled even prior to COVID. We both are now (re) scheduled for an interview on 10th Aug and the letter was issued on 2nd July. My wife’s status was not updated in the system and she called them after I received the information on online portal. They affirmed that she is also scheduled on the same day, which was later updated online as well. Will keep all of you posted, keeping fingers crossed.

So, just stay calm and positively, things are moving forward, it’s just slow.

By the way, our system still shows a completion date of July 2020!!

I submitted my Naturalization application on July 18, 2019, and got my biometrics done the same month. I haven't received an interview call yet.
Did anyone know any updates? Anyone recently got a Naturalization interview scheduled in Phoenix? If yes, what was your timeline?
Many thanks!
