Waiting for Oath Norfolk Virginia
I have my interview on 1/14 20 in Virginia . I/O recommended my application .

Citizenship -Denial-NY field
After lots of months I got my interview which I passed the tests, and officers asked me to bring some certified court dispositions about driving matters ,(cause I had send the copies from before 4,5 years that I had a broken mirror in my car. I took them on my date and the officer instead of keeping the original dispositions kept by mistake (!!!) the copies and said to me to do so!! ....3 days later I got a denial said that I should give the original!!! that is so unfair now I must submit a 336 form to prove the wrong and spend onother 2.000 in attorney fees (i dont have the passion for any other mistake I could cost in the new process )and form. I'm very disapointed how they make such a mistake!! Now are they go to recognize it?? I'm wondering what's my chances!!!

Case out of processing time frame notice
Hi,
My case is out of normal processing time frame for USCIS Long Island office in NY. I filed a out of processing time with USCIS online and got this response below;
The status of this service request is:
On January 8, 2020, you or your representative contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) concerning N-400
Application for Naturalization because you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time.
We are still reviewing your case. We will mail you a notice when we make a decision.
Is this a standard message USCIS send to people to send them away or keep them quite?
Does this mean the case will be expedited? anyone with this knowledge or experience?
By the way am still waiting to eb scheduled for an interview.

Naturalization NY Field
After 37 years legally being with green card in USA , pay all taxes and being lawful person, I went to my interview after 8 months, and I pass my examinations , but they request me to reappear to submit a form N-14 for some original certified court dispositions (they already had copies that I sended)for a court i had for a broken mirror -yes broken mirror -that I had with a car. I went 1,5 month after my interview, to leave them the papers and the lady in the office told me that I should keep the original and give her the copies so I did cause I supposed that she knows what to ask, she did had my form N-14 in front of her !!!
Now I reiceive a denial and they wrote to me that the cost of denial I didht left them the original!!! I got very upset!!! How is possible from them to make such a mistakes? Now I have to submit a request for hearing again to speak about this fact ,that's so unfair , to waste so much time without being my fault!!!

US Citizen ! YAY :-)
I and my wife's interview was on Jan 27 at the USCIS Sacramento, CA field office. My interview lasted just 10 min, I was asked questions, answered 6 right. Then a few confirmation questions on N-400 and where I worked. Then the officer asked me if I wanted o take the oath after 2 hrs and I said yes. Our oath ceremony was held in the same office after 2 hrs and my wife and I came back with our naturalization certificate. It was smooth and well organized, the staff was very courteous and nice.

estimated completion time 9 month in NJ
I just submitted N400 a couple of days ago, and the estimated completion time appears to be 9 month. The location is NJ. I am just wondering how accurate the time is. If not accurate, the real time is usually longer or short that the estimated? Thank you guys!

NYC Oath ceremony schedule - how long was the wait if you requested a name change?
This is my first time to post here. I wanted to ask folks who've recently had their oath ceremony scheduled with the Federal Plaza in Manhattan but requested for a name change (so the ceremony will be with the judicial court), could you share your timeline? Do you know how often and what days of the week they hold the judicial ceremonies now?
I also wanted to ask what is the current US passport processing time, regular vs. rushed. I know the State gov has their published time but I wanted to see what the actual time is because I have several trips coming up both domestically (mid Feb) and internationally in April (one for work, and another to see my family abroad mixed with leisure). The challenge is I can't book my travel at all because the ceremony scheduling can happen anytime or can take a long while too. I also still need to apply for visas in the countries I'm traveling to (even with a US passport).
Here's my N-400 timeline in case it helps others who are earlier in the process:
