Interview Letter
It has been 2 weeks since my interview is schedule but did not receive interview letter in mail.
In case if we don't receive letter, can we print interview letter from USCIS account and bring at the time of Interview.
Do they ask for original letter only ? or copy also works.

A decision cannot be made yet 150 days after N-400 interview
Hello Everyone,

I’m here the share my experience “not good at all”. I had my interview on 08/03/2019, in Oakland Park Office, At the end of the interview the officer gave me the form N-652 indicating that I passed the civil and English test, but a decision cannot be made yet, he told me that he needed to check my file and I’ll be receiving a decision soon.
It has been 150 days since my interview and 17 months since USCIS received my application and still haven’t heard anything from them, not even an email from them asking for documents. I already called USCIS customer service three times, the answer from them is “your case is still pending” I already know that :S, I also contacted Ombudsman and nothing, I think the only option left for me is Sue USCIS in a Federal Court, I was wondering if anyone had any similar experience and can give me some kind of advice about what to do next.

N400
Hello Everyone,

My husband and I got the green card five years ago. My husband was the primary applicant for the I 485 (green card) & I got my GC as his spouse.

Can I now file for the N400 application as the main applicant? I appreciate your comments/suggestions.

Thank you!

N400: There is o update/notification after naturalization interview
Dear Friends, Happy New Year 2020 to everyone!

I have attended my N400 interview in the first week of December and got N-652 form with the below items marked.

* You passed the tests of English and U.S. history and government.
* USCIS will send you a written decision about your application.
* Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval. At this time, it appears that you have established your eligibility for naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be /notified when and where to report for the Oath Ceremony.

After that I have not received any other update or notifications from the USCIS, myuscis online status still shows "interview was scheduled".

Officer was very friendly and kind, and interview went well in my understanding.

Also the finger printing equipment was not working in my room, and I have signed on a iPad device, also looks like
the local field office does not accept infopass.

Please advise me?

Best regards!

Questions N400
Hi,

I will be applying soon just waiting for 5 years - 89 days to come. I did complete on-line application and I have 3 questions, please?

Question #1)
It asked to include GC, Marriage Cert and Kids Birth Certs. Attached all of those.

There was another box to attach additional documents (You can provide additional documents that support your application and help explain any of your responses on the application).

If I dont include, I am getting this message in yellow: (You should provide evidence. If you do not provide evidence, your application processing may be delayed.

I dont know what else to include?

Question #2) I did include employment History for the last 4 years and 9 months, but the system says I am missing information for the first 3 months. Should I just ignore that message?

Employment History- Missing Information (first 3 months)

Question #3) Where is the payment option? I did complete the application, but I haven't seen the option to pay. Is that something that pops-up after I review or about to hit Submit the application ?

Thank you!!!

Change of Address
Does change of address increases the processing time for N400?
I live in apartment and I need to move to another unit I’m not moving to another address but rather changing the apartment unit only within the same apartment complex.

Question on when my wife can apply for naturalization
Hi All,

Happy New Year. Can anyone please help me with this question? I became a US citizen in January 2018 after 5 years of Green card residence. Can my wife who got her Green Card before I became a citizen apply for citizenship under the 3 year rule? Or does she have to wait for 5 years like I did?

Thank you.

Question before applying in 2 weeks
Hi,

My wife and I will be applying in 2 weeks (5 years - 89 days).
After we apply, my wife has to take her mom back home and will be out of the country for 7 days. Is that OK?

Can you leave after you apply for a short trip? Does that affect anything?
We have lived in the US for the entire time, except some short trips.

Any help is highly appreciated!
