Hey all! ( NYC OFFICE):
May 15th 2019 submitted
Jan 23 2020 - the timeline changed to 31 days (it was 2 month before)
Just a tiny question:
Im about a month away from my naturalization interview. (Based on 3years of marriage) .
The question is : has any of you brought your suppose to the naturalization interview? Legally USCIS doesn’t require the beneficiary to be present, but I’m curious if it will make a difference if he will be there for me.
Also what are the trickiest relative questions you had at naturalization N-400 application based on on 3 years rule?

Wichita, Kansas Timeline
I started completing the form on paper and as I thought about having to go get my picture taken, and such, I decided to file it online.
It was way easier, and definitely faster. I created the online account, and as I took good pictures of documents with my phone, and uploaded them, I realized how much easier and automatic it was to file this online.
I had filed for the Green Card through marriage at the end of December of 2015. The interview was in March of 2016, and by April I obtained the temporary Green Card. Then, last April I received my Permanent Resident card, and since I was very busy with work, I decided to wait for the Naturalization process.

There are Quizlets for the Civics Test, although you may have to look up the governor, representatives, etc for your own area and state.

On January 2nd 2020, I filed online for the Naturalization.
On January 3rd 2020, they sent email that they had received. Timeline: July 2020
On January 5th 2020, they emailed an update: appointment for Biometrics.
On January 23rd 2020, Biometrics completed. Timeline: June 2020

N400 / You attended your interview status online but Placed in line for Oath on phone

I recently received the notification online and i checked the status of
“You attended your interview” was shown 1/22.

Just this morning, i called the USCIS customer service line before I even get chanced to speak to representative. It is asked to verify Receipt number to look up account.

The automated system said “On January 22,2019 We placed your application in queue to schedule in an Oath Ceremony”.

I asked the person on the phone. They said both online and Phone automated are accurate.

Now my question is am i placing in line for Oath or i’m still at the status of Attended the interview.

Has anyone have the same experience????

Chicago office..

Thanks

N400- Sacramento Field Office
Hi Everyone!

Anybody here who applied at the Sac office?

I applied on October 12,2019 and got my biometrics done November 12,2019.

Until now my case status still says they're actively reviewing my case. How long does it usually take to have a notice for the interview?

SF Bay area, waiting for oath
My experience briefly. GK 5 years.

April 3, 2019 - filed N-400 with my wife
Jan 13, 2020 - both attended interview, both recommended for approval and approved the same day
Jan 16, 2020 - her oath ceremony scheduled on Feb 12, 2020, nothing for me as of now

The interview results paper says the ceremony usually is scheduled within 2 months. Waiting for my schedule. SF office.

N400 Pending Decision
Hey,

I wanted to share my experience and get advises on it.

Current Situation:

Pending I751 (Applied on November 14, 2018)

Haven't even received fingerprint letter yet.

But meanwhile applied for N400 and had an interview on January 21, 2020.

I answered 6 civic question correctly. IO asked few questions from form N400 such as address and employment.

IO made me sign information such as spelling on Naturalization certificate and all.

After all this IO said you passed the test but however we have to request your i751 from different office (which is Nebraska) and review with my supervisor. If we need to interview you and your wife we will send you a letter in mail. If not then we will send you our decision on n-400.

When I asked how long this process will take, IO responded they don't know it depends on how quickly they get i751 file.

This is little frustrating.

Any suggestion or idea on this?

Thanks
