Updating info after Naturalization
Anyone here who updated his/her immigration status right away at the social security and didn’t wait for 10 days like what they advise? What happened? Any of you applied for the passport first or update the social security? Your advise and inputs are very much appreciated!

N-400 interview notice before I-751 Notice
Had anyone received and went to a N-400 interview before receiving a I-751 interview? And, if so, did they conduct the I-751 interview with you and you spouse? Did they have the I-751 file or did you bring all of that stuff with you?
Thank you.

Citizenship thru Military Service.
I just did my interview earlier the Officer started with the civic test and then immediately followed by the writing and reading test. I passed both. I reviewed and signed the information on the tablet however, the officer ask me about my marriage and then the conversation heated up. He throw a bunch of question about the timeline of our marriage and he said that everything was planned for me to come here and gain immigration benefits. I asked him why did he ask me about my marriage since I applied for naturalization thru military service.
I just want to share my experience. I’m so down right now.

N-400 Summons
Hey all, I received my i-797c in the mail for my N-400 Application for naturalization from Marriage (3yrs after green card) in Seattle, WA. I had some questions.

1. Does my spouse need to be present for this test/interview?
2. Is the ceremony on the same day, or that comes at a later date?
3. Do you know how many questions the test is, and what the % is needed to pass?

Appreciate all the help,
Trying to plan around wife's work, and she wants to take a day off for the ceremony, but no info on if its the same day or not in Seattle.
Thanks so much,

Citizenship process experience
Hey guys, I'll use this thread to post my citizenship timeline and experience so far and I'll keep adding to it for more info.

1) I first submitted my N-400 this May(2022). This was a few months ahead of the 5 year GC status. The initial process timeline said 18-24 months.
2) I was notified about skipping biometric process within a week, by June.
3) I was notified in August about Citizenship interview to be held in September at the Indianapolis, Indiana office. The timeline reduced to 8-12 months.
4) Citizenship interview- I did the reading, writing and civics test. I answered all of them. It was pretty straight forward. They asked me what I did, how I got my GC etc. After a few mins, he mentioned I passed the test and I left the office. I was told I'll hear from them in 2-6 weeks. So I'm currently waiting.
