naturalization interview: decision cannot be made yet 2022
Hello
I am new here. Please share your experiences. I had an interview for naturalization this month. My application to remove temporary conditions of my green card is pending. However, I was eligible for naturalization. The interview went well. The officer asked me couple questions. then did the history test which i passed. My husband couldnt come with me because he has enlarged tonsils. At the end, officer said congrats i passed the test. and made sign paper that had my oath and check information that may appear on my natuarlization certificate. However, on the paper he gave it says decision cannot be made yet. is this something to be worried about this?

Continuous presence requirements for minors of a green card holder
Hello! My step daugher is awaiting her green card. We understand that once she gets it she will be required to stay in the U.S. a minimum of 6 months a year for 5 contiguous years. Does anyone know if the same requirement would be true for her very young daughters who who to attain citizenship when she does? Thank you!

Form i-751 and N-400, application for Naturalization interview but we are separated
Hello everyone, I have a dilemma. We got married in 2017. My spouse applied for Petition to remove the conditions on residence, Form i-751 and N-400, application for Naturalization interview. His interview is next week. I got a letter yesterday from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services that I have to go to the interview too. We have been separated for one year. What should I do? If I go to the interview and I say we have been separated for one year and he says we are still together. What's going to happen? Please someone help me. What should I do. Any answer is greatly appreciated.Thank you.

I-751 Pending and N400 Application
Hello everyone,

I am reading a lot of negative output regarding N400 interview with I-751 pending, some who had their combo interview ended up that nothing was approved at the end of theirinterview. I have I-751 pending and just recently submit my N400 application via online. Now I am getting paranoid about it. My marriage is legit but still getting nervous about it.

To those who had their combo interview can you share your experiences? Any responses is highly appreciated.

N400, here to share my timeline, Orlando field office
Hi guys, this journey is finally over. Thanks for this website and I'm here to share my timeline.

Interview Was Scheduled October 11, 2022
We are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records showed nothing is outstanding at this time. June 2, 2022
We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and sent you a receipt notice. June 1, 2022

Interviewer is very friendly. My interview was scheduled at 12:45 and got seated at 1:30.

First she started the civic question.
1)Who's the founding father? 2)How long does house of representative serve 3)Who wrote declaration of independence .. can't remember the rest but those questions are pretty easy.

On writing, she asked me to say "Who elects Congress"

After that we just went over the yes/no question. I updated my speeding ticket and she scan the file. Also updated work history. At the end she congratulated me and said you have pass the interview!

A little hiccup is that yesterday she said the system is very slow so she's not sure if she can put me in queue for the ceremony same day. Because of the system failure on my sheet it says "A decision cannot be made" but she said I definitely passed and asked me to wait in the lobby and they will see if the system will allow the ceremony. I then waited from 2 pm to 4 pm with probably around 25 more people to be naturalized. At the end an officer came out and said due to the system being so low, about 5 of us cannot be sworn in today and asked us to go home and wait for the mail.

My online USCIS account still says interview scheduled, no update since. I'm a little bit nervous lol since it's been a day with no update. With the coming holiday being a possible delay, don't know when they will schedule me for the oath. My friend who also did the interview in the same field office, his status changed that same day at night and he got a phone call from the field office the following day ask him to come in for an interview. Not sure how long will mine take since the online status haven't even changed yet,

Anyone in the same boat?
