Hey guys. Congratulations for whom approved for their citizenship and good luck for one whom still waiting and hope the waiting time owing be that long. I have filed and application received on Jul 10 2019, did my biometrics Jul 30th 2019. The estimation completion time was Aug 2020 and now changed to Oct 2020 . Is that normal ? And if anyone filed in Jul please post your timeline experience and thank you all for your feedbacks 🌹

I have no passport right now, and I need one bad, have not been home to visit famly for 2 years, just wondering if I can apply for passport on the day i have my oath and pay for an expedited one... if thats allowed how long does it take to get the pasaport approximately. Thnx ❤️

Oath: 21 Aug 19 ( I went in to take oath but was declined to attend oath because of a pending traffic ticket, so everyone if you get a ticket after interview and before oath then make sure it’s been taken care of and bring supporting documents)
2nd Oath: 16 Oct 19.
Became citizen.

N-400 Application in Houston, TX
Mine, ex-wife and two daughters (20 and 22) N-400 is finally coming to an end. We filled out online the same day, at the same time so we can have interview and oath ceremony the same day and God willing looks like it's happening :)

Interview is scheduled for all of us the same day, Oct 22nd (next week). My ex-wide and older daughter at 1:30 pm, mine at 2:05 pm and younger daughter at 3:15 pm.
We pray God that everything goes smooth and we get our citizenship applications approved. We got our green cards back in Dec 2010 but due so many things happening, including 2 daughters in college (one still in college) and one getting married on 2015, we had to wait more than 5 years. So right now, after almost 9 years as residents we are getting our US citizenship.
If anyone has any tip or recommendation to share about their interviews in Houston field office, please share them. That would help a lot to the four of us.

Dallas Interview pass Decision cannot be made yet
Yesterday my wife had an interview in Irving she pass everything. The interview is very well.
in the last time, IO said Congratulation you past the test but I don't tall you a decision at this time
I am giving your application to my supervisor for review. Also, IO said withing a few days we'll send you a ceremony letter. how long does it take to send to me a decision?

Just want to share my experience because this forum also helped me a lot.
I applied online Sept 2018 and just got approved today.
Make sure you’re upfront about any citations or DUI you have.
I had a DUI last year but the charges was dropped because the video evidence shows I actually passed the test but the police woman was probably just in the mood to arrest someone.
This worried me a lot even if the case was dropped. I was upfront with the IO and detailed all that happened. He was nice about it.
I also had a ticket few years back and I mentioned it too.
I was still approved, just waiting for the oath ceremony in the mail.
If you’ve had issues like this, don’t think too much about and bring as much evidence as you can find. This will help your case a lot.
