I waited 17 months and they just changed status from background check
To in line for an interview on August 1 2018 so it’s been 10 day

My timeline as follows:

FD:10.16.2017 and status was "Case was Received"
Case in line for an interview:08.01.2018
Interview was Scheduled:08.03.208
Received interview letter today.
I don't know other Atlanta fillers case status specially Applicant Robbb.

Test in NYC - Relocated to NJ
Hello, I recently relocated to NJ from NYC where I took and passed my civics test. I updated the USCIS records that day, and was told my case would be then moved to the Newark office.
I just received an update on my case saying that I have once again been put in line for an interview. Will I have to retake the civics test in New Jersey?

Did my interview today, straight forward civic and English test done and passed no problems. Then the Officer and I went over the application and revised what's need to be done. I am a pilot, born and raised in Syria, got my green card through asylum, and per the Immigration law, I can apply for the citizenship 4 years after the approval date of my Green Card and sure thing that's what I did. Apparently, the officer doesn't know that law, she told me your Green Card says obtained in 2014 you should apply in 2019 you are not eligible after explaining where I got the information and pointed to her where on the USCIS website provide this law she told me I need to restudy and case and let you know. Also, because the nature of my job I travel outside the country pretty regularly I showed her proof of my employment with the airline she was hung up on the fact I left the country after I applied for the citizenship. Is there a law that restricts me from leaving the country after applying for the citizenship? I didn't know about it. In addition to that, the paper mentioned nothing about bringing tax return for the years I worked in the US, she asked for these papers thank the lord because of this page I read so many people being delayed till they submit these papers, so I had them with me.
Good luck everyone going for the interview in Chicago and bring your tax return with you it's an important item, and they don't list it on the letter.

Hi,
I'm ready to send my N-400 form. I'm curious about de translation required for those document that aren't written in english. Do you guys have any experiece about it?.
Does foreign documents must to be translated by certified source or can be translated by a any fluent-speaker person in both languages?
I have dicided to fill the N-400 form by myself, using the online option but I'm nervous to make any mistake that can impact the process time or in the worst case whole process.
Any recomendation? I'm applying for citizenship by marriage.
