TIMELINE FROM INTERVIEW TO OATH (NYC)
Hi there -

1) does anyone know what it means that my FO (26 Federal Plaza) needs to fill 200 spots in order to do an oath ceremony?

Background: I went to 26 Federal Plaza for an infopass to get a status update and an IO told me that since my interview was about a month ago it is still too soon for an oath to be scheduled because "they need 200 people" - I have no idea what that means and why it would be so hard to fill that many spots in a location like NY.

2) Also, the IO said my case was approved but that it was awaiting a signature from another group - what does that mean? It didn't sound like it was the usual IO supervisor review, as the person said the case was actually approved but needed "final verification" by another group who sign off on cases. The IO said they estimate it takes 30 days to finalize. I wonder if this has to do with a final background check or because of a name change?

I have not heard of any of these experiences from anyone on these boards but please let me know if you have heard of this?

After 16 months waiting, Finally my status changed from Fingerprint.... to In Line for Interview. An action need to be taken if you have waiting that long, and that's what helped me.

N400 Baltimore, MD July 2017 Filer
Good Morning, I've been reading the blog posts for a while, but thought to post now for the first time. I just recently got scheduled for my naturalization interview and my FO is Baltimore, MD.

N-400 timeline as follows:
Priority Date: 07/18/2017
Biometrics: 08/18/2017
Interview Scheduled on: 07/06/2018 (rec'd letter on 07/12/2018)
Upcoming Interview on: 08/11/2018

I have an I751 app (removal of conditions on temp GC) that was rec'd on 08/29/2016 and has still not been resolved. I rec'd a 1-yr extension of my temp GC and then took an InfoPass appt. last year for another extension and got my PP stamped until 09/05/2018. If anyone has had concurrent I751/N400 interviews or processing, please let me know what to expect at the interview. I am wondering if I should ask for another extension at the time of the interview as I'm not sure how quickly after the N400 interview I will get scheduled for an oath ceremony and don't want to risk a lapse in status? Thank you very much for any feedback on this case.

Houston Citizenship Oath Ceremony
Ok I got an e-notification stating that "We scheduled your oath ceremony for Receipt Number ZZZ. We sent a notice with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony to the address you gave us. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by August 15, 2018" Can we assume that the oath ceremony wont be until after this date? I was approved on June 12.

Chicago no oath letter.
Hello everyone,
I had appeared for interview on Chicago on Jun 25. Passes and everything went well.
But I still do not see any change in my status. Online it still says "Interview Was Scheduled".

Are there any one from Chicago from around 25th June timeline? It might be that 4th of July holiday delayed everything a bit.
