US passport and SSN after Oath Ceremony
Finally, I gor the Oath Ceremony letter!

Question to people who already became U.S.citizens.

It is advised after the naturalization ceremony to apply for the US passport and to update your Social Security record at a local office of the Social Security Administration (SSA). Please wait at least ten days after your ceremony before going to the SSA to ensure that data reflecting your naturalization has been updated.

What should I do first- applying for a passport or updating ssn? Will the ssn NUMBER be changed during this update and will I get a new ssn card? (Idid not change name during naturalization, I have green card and ssn car. Green card will be taken , what about ssn card?)

Waiting for interview, 10 month passed already. San Bernardino, CA
I submitted my N400 in October 2017 and did the fingerprint at the end of October 2017.
After that, no response till now. ( today as Aug 6, 2018 )

My files goes to San Bernardino County California.
No sure if anyone have similar experience like me, I heard San Bernardino is one of the fastest offices to process the case, and the average waiting time is 4 to 10 month.

I went to the info pass three times and been told everything was good, just wait.

Thank you in advance if you have any experiences or information to share.

BIOMETRIC TWICE!!!
Hi everyone,
This is my second time posting on this thread because I know this is the only place that I can find help or supports with my hopeless citizenship process! I am so desperate and sad right now because after a long 17 MONTHS of waiting for an interview, today I got a mail from IO Dallas said that I have to go for another BIOMETRIC appoitnment!!!! How ridiculous is that!!! What is said on that letter is exactly like the one that I got 16 months ago except from the date and time.
Here is my timeline:
PD: March 31, 2017
Biometric: April 25, 2017
In line for interview: April 27, 2017
Biometric (2nd): August 10, 2018!!!

Is there any of you here had to go for the biometric again as me? Or if you have any thought, any things to share would be highly appreciated. As I got the mail, 100% sure that was an interview letter but now my heart broke and felt nothing but hopelessness...

Dallas Oath Letter Delay
I and My wife attended interview on 05/23/18 and I got naturalized on 06/14. She still have not received the Oath letter yet. On the interview date they provided a note that "Decision Cannot be made" where as mine was "Recommended for approval". Its been 75 days and still waiting for her letter. Is anyone in the same situation. I logged SR with level-2 and got a generic response that "Case is still under review" and will be notified once decision is made etc....I have infopass this thursday though.

N-400 interview scheduled
I received the interview notice on 08/02/2018, and I’m currently out of the country. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the mail for the interview? I already bought my flight ticket for 08/19/2018, and is it possible that the interview lands in before my flight date?
Thanks
