The battle has ended Atlanta field office
I am finally a US citizen, I took an oath of allegiance today with other 51 nationality in Atlanta. It was very sensational and emotional experience and I would like to thank great people on this forum for guidance and support esp Allan and Robb.
I would like to share my timeline with you guys.

Interview Completed but Decision Cannot be made
Both my spouse and I with a PD date of 9/1/2017 had our interview at the Chicago office yesterday (7/12/18) and today (7/13/18) respectively.

We both passed our English and Civics test. While reviewing our forms, the officers (different) found a typo in the end date where we had put 2016 instead of 2017 in the address section.
In my case I had another item where I did not answer a question about how many times my spouse has been married. I answered it there and the I/O updated the same for me.

We have no criminal history and paid all our taxes on time. Still we both got 'A decision cannot be made at this time' and were asked to wait 3-4 weeks for a written decision. Any one else in the same boat or thoughts on what may be going on. Is it because of the typo in the form.

BTW we got the same 6 civics questions
- 435 voting members
- Father of our country
- War fought by US in 1900
- state rep for a term of how many years
- chief justice of the supreme court
- in what month do we vote for president

n400 interview experiences in Orlando
I just applied for citizenship in May 2018, I live in Orlando, and I would like to get some experiences on this specific field office.

I'm also divorced from my husband whom I got the green card thru and this makes me a little nervous even though our marriage was bonafide and never been requested for evidence during our green card progress.

Let me know how it went for you!

Risk of missing naturalization itnerview
Hi all,

been silently reading this threat since last year and I think you are all fabulous with oyour advice and support.

I have been waiting for my n400 interview for over a year.
I applied in May2017
Did fingerprints in June2017
And my status was 'in line for interview' ever since...

My Greencard expired in the meantime...

2 weeks ago, I had to reapply for a new Green Card, because of an emergency I have to travel back home for a few weeks. After multiple trips to the USCIS I got granted an extension on my GC.

Now, I am ready and able to travel; will be leaving next month.

To my surprise, yesterday, I saw that my status changed and that my interview for N400 has been scheduled! That means, I will receive a letter in the mail! and my interview might be while I am gone!

How can they give me an interview now "knowing" that I have an emergency and I have to travel?!!

I can't believe it, I am freaking out.

As anyone had to reschedule an interview??

Status update
How long does it typically take to change a status from interview scheduled to in line for oath? Ive always thought it was a automatic update but evidently it isn’t.
