Finally coming to an end
Finally got my Oath letter today in the mail. Oath ceremony on Friday
I've read where some filers saying Oath ceremony is normally schedule for 2 weeks or more after you receive your notice. That's not always the case so to the filers taking trips, please be careful.

N-400 Application New York Long Island 2018
Application filed June 2017
Finger Print July 2017
Received letter for interview on Dec 12
Went to Interview on Jan 18, 2018

At the interview, which I passed. However, IO officer told me that he would recommend my case to be approved but cannot do it right away. Haven't heard anything for a month. Went on the infopass appointment today and Officer mentioned that your file was transferred to off site officer for further review. Not sure what it means. Can anyone please help me why they would send my file to Off Site officer for further reviews.

Sacramento Office
Just wanted to share my experience at the Sacramento Office so far...

Filed: September 9, 2017
PD: September 12, 2017
Receipt NOA Received: September 21, 2017
FP: October 5, 2017 (Notice received around October 1, I think)
Still waiting for updates today.

For some reason I wasn't able to access my online status until a month or two after FP. Online status is still showing as "Case was received" no update that I did my FP or anything else. Feeling a little bit antsy and impatient. And it doesn't help that my brother who applied a few months after I did (LA office, however) already got his notice for interview. I do know that it's still within the time frame, but has anyone else been stuck in "Case was received" status even after fingerprinting?

N-400 updates
I always have been reading updates from users on this website and for the first time I have decided to input my own updates.
I applied for citizenship back in June 21st 2017, Field office Atlanta, GA
my PD is June 22 2017
case update: Sent a note for FP on July 5th 2017
FP was completed on July 13th 2017
Case stuck ever since.
Relocated to Arlington VA and updated address on November 29th 2017.
Received confirmation with address change update in December 10 2017.
Inquired in January 23 2018 (called USCIS) about the case and new address was on file.
Sent another inquiry in February 1 2018 and received a reply "Your security checks are still pending, we cannot schedule you for an interview before you security checks are returned and are clear"
Never been delayed since I became a permanent resident. Never had any security problems. Traveled to Europe only 4 times in the last 5 years for a week each time! No traffic violations except for one speeding ticket worth of $150 USD.

No idea if this is normal , if really my security checks are pending. I don't even know if I should track the field office performance in Atlanta or in Washington D.C

N-400 Dallas TX
Hi everyone,
I did my interview in Dallas TX on Nov 14th of 2017, on the very next day the 15th of Nov, USCIS web update my case status, " My Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled", the same status till today it has not been changed. (I did request a name change)

My question is:

- District Court for oath in my area is held in the Amarillo, but I did interview in Dallas TX. I am not sure which location is the one will I go for the Oath in my case?

- I request a case update from USCIS about one week ago, the respond was "I am in line for the next ceremony". When i filed N-400, I request an name change, I didn't know at that time request an name change will taking longer proceses time then just keep the original name. USCIS did not give me exact time when my oath will be taking, they just saying," They put me in line for the next oath ceremony". As of today i have no idea when my oath will be taking, dose anyone in my area has the same case? Dose anyone know anything? Can anyone help me?

Thank you very much! I deeply appreciate it!
