Salt Lake City Filer - FO Phoenix, AZ
I want to share my experience as I was benefited a lot from all others'.

PD: 3/7/17
FP: 4/10/17
In line for interview: 4/26/17
months of waiting...
Interview Scheduled: 10/23/17

I haven't received the letter in mail yet, so not sure what date is my interview. It's likely at the end of Nov or early Dec. I'm currently pregnant with twins and due date is at the end of Dec. I'm planning to talk to my officer to see if they can schedule my oath ceremony early if I pass the interview.

To be continued...

NYC Federal Plaza Interview Exprience
I am reading this forum for a while, and I would like to share my experience, since reading yours helped me in a sense what to expect there.
My application for naturalization was based on 5-years permanent residency, and I applied 90 days before that 5-year period.
My PD is 02/15/2017, fingerprints done in mid-March and status changed to: In line for an Interview in mid April. On September 21st, I received in mail notice that the Interview is scheduled for Oct 24th. The status online changed two weeks after I received my mail with Interview notice.
I went to Federal Plaza for an Interview, everybody were highly professional and helpful, and directed me to the right floor and room. I checked in 20 minutes before I was scheduled, and waited for more than one hour to be called by the officer. Officer was very professional, we first started by going through my application. I had two typos, minor, he noticed one and I noticed the other one, he changed that, also I had two extra trips since I applied and I mentioned that, and he added that as well in the application. After that he asked few questions, only from the application, like, do you have kids, do you pay taxes, did you travel and stayed more than 6 months, etc.
Then the officer went through the questions that are all answered NO, eg, are you member of any radical movement, communist, etc.
After that he started with the civic test, which was quickly and please try not to improvise there, give only the answers that are in the manual. I read one sentence and wrote one sentence. After that I signed several papers and he told me that my case is approved for naturalization, and that I passed the test and will receive the letter for the Oath ceremony.
He handed in the Form N-652 (Naturalization Interview Results).

I wish you all the best in your interviews.

Naturalization based on asylum
Hi everyone,

Any information about what questions about traveling should I expect on my interview?
Anyone has been thru the interview on asylum based case? Do they ask you if you traveled back to your country? How bad can it be if you did?

Thank you, hope I hear any answers.
