Interview Reschedule Experience
Hello Friends, looking for some advice for people who have successfully rescheduled their interview.

Timeline:
PD:10/12/2016
FP: 10/24/2016
Original Interview Date: 9/12/2017 *The day before my interview an officer called me and informed me that they were cancelling the interview because of Hurricane Harvey and would send me a new notice in the mail.

I have had a Europe trip booked from Oct 23 - Nov 4th for a while now and told the officer that I would likely be out of the country if they rescheduled me during those dates, to which he said that was no problem and there would be no repercussions as a result of the hurricane and I could just reschedule if necessary.

Lo and behold on the 24th of Sept, the day after I leave my brother got the notice in the mail for a new date of Oct, 11th.

On the 26th of Sept I had my brother mail my written letter, evidence of my flights and the interview notice to the Houston office to request a reschedule.

I had not heard back from them by October 4th, so I called USCIS and they submitted a case inquiry regarding my reschedule request.

On October 9th I got a notice in the mail following up on the case inquiry, but all it said was I needed to provide a written request and supporting evidence.... Which I have already done...

I called back and the officer told me I should wait 30 days from when I sent the reschedule request and then make an INFOPASS appointment.

Can anyone share their experience or offer any advice that may help as I now am worried that I have missed my interview and they may close my case. I am still in Europe and do not wish to go home early as it will cost me significantly.

Married or not married?
Hello friends,
I am from country A and I married a girl in country B last year but we do not have a marriage certificate yet. I have mentioned myself as single in the N400 application. Should I tell the immigration officer during my interview that I am culturally married but not legally married yet? I intend to travel after my naturalization, get the marriage registered and start my wife's immigration process. Any suggestions on how to approach this? Thanks!

I have some questions
Good afternoon, all

I have some questions....

I read this forum for a couple of while since I filed my application..

Question 1: Does anyone must go through the step from " fingerprint appointment was scheduled " to Case in line for an interview" ? It seems I read one person who posted his
timeline didn't mention " Case in line for an interview" step from FP to INTERVIEW WAS SCHEDULED

Question2: If regular speeding ticket and fine is under $ 150 , is any problem to affect us? USCIS wont' approve people who have traffic violation? ?

does anyone know?
Thanks
