N-400 Houston Office
My case :

1- Date Filed : 3-12-17
2- FP: 4-11-17
3- Case status change to the line for an interview : 5-8-17
Since then there is no change.

I heard that Houston office is too busy but the thing is I know friends of mine also from Houston their cases did not take that long, so what is the reason why you guys think?

If there is anyone filed on the Houston office would share their timeline would be cool to better understanding how the process going.

Thanks,

IOE CASES
Hi all
Is there anyone with an IOE receipt number been approved on this forum? Can they share their wait time from interview to oath.
I will explain. My friend had his interview in dallas on january and was recommended fir approval but as of now no oath. He called his senator and went for an infopass today just to learn that ELIS did mess up backgroubd checks for some IOE cases and that as of now they are waiting for his background check because they didnt trust the first one as tge system failed to do proper checks. He was told not to worry just wait until the 2nd fingerprints checks and records checks are done.
I hv an IOe number as well and wasnt approved right away too.
Any thoughtS IOE filers?

Letter from tax authority?
I believe that was the wording. My husband had his interview 3 weeks ago. This past weekend he received a letter saying more documents are needed and it said it needed a letter from tax authority that basically says he filed taxes and that he paid taxes.

What type of document is this - Account Transcript?

Also - what years does he need to supply?

When he called to ask they said he needs to schedule an appointment at the local office. But there are no appointments available in the next 2 weeks, to check back online tomorrow.

Anyone have to provide this?

DC office.
Hello all,
My journey started on Jan 19 and exactly 5 months after that I had the interview which was recommended for Approval.
On July 17th the status changed to "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled". My question is: How long do I need to wait (DC office comments would be better) until I get the final letter with the date of the ceremony?
Thanks in advance!

Oakland Park FL office taking forever to process my case
Oakland Park FL office

Papers filed by the end of November 2016
Biometrics done by the end of December 2016
In line for interview since January 4 2017

Infopass on July 13 2017

Went to the Oakland Park office and it took me around 3 hours before I could talk to somebody. The person basically told me what I already knew from the website, which is that they are behind ( July 6 2016).

Well, I guess I have no choice but to wait. Reading through the forum here I saw some posts where people had to wait 10 or 11 months before they got their interview date so....each case is different. My wife got her citizenship in the same office last year in 4 months so go figure!!
