N-400 interview coming up on Jan13, 2022
Hi all,
I have my N400 Interview scheduled this thursday morning at the LA office at 9:!5am. I have a couple of questions:
1. Do i need to carry my Tax returns for the past few years to the interview ?
2. Do I need to carry proof that I lived together (joint statments, bills ,etc) with my ex-wife to the interview. That evidence was already submitted during removal of conditions but I am not sure if USCIS may still ask for it. Thoughts/suggestions ? I do have my divorce decree

Hi,
I want to ask I accidentally have a kid outside of my current marriage and my wife dont know about that. But I am about to file for citizenship and there is section to put all your kid name in there.
Is it okay if I dont put my “outside” kid’s name in there?
USCIS will know if you have kid outside marriage but you dont claim on application?

N400 Detroit
Hi guys,
I have filed my N-400 in May 2020 for the Detroit office and so far I have gone for a Biometric appointment in June 2021. From June 2021, I am waiting for the updates but nothing so far. Doe this sound normal? Technically, my case is getting longer than expected. I have filed an inquiry case and USCIS had no answer for me since all the details are directed with the Detroit office. Any help or suggestion would be really appreciated.

I was going through my N400 form online, on one of the yes or no questions about being cited, detained or arrested by any law enforcement. I picked No instead of Yes. So I wanted to know if there is any way to get that fix before my interview. Thank you

N-400 Citizenship
I am in a situation where i need a suggestion from you guys. I got 10 years gc through marriage and i have apples for citizenship after 3 year rule and after i apply me and my wife having some person issues so we stayed separated for 2 month and see if things work out but its not working out so we went and apply for divorce and now i am on 60 days wait period. Now i dont know what to do with citizenship application and how to proceed further.

N400 Interview today
I had my citizenship interview today. I am filing as a widow (i485) with green card for 7 yrs now. The interview was pretty easy. Waited about 25 mins to get called in. Was sworn in, went through civic test, did the read and write. Then we went over the criminal charges (x2) and the one conviction I have. Was a misdemeanor but it was from back in Canada so she had to verify that it was a misdemeanor here too. Took copies of my court records , verified dates of arrests. Got a copy of divorce decree as I divorced since applying. Then we chit chatted while she ran her check. She told me that green card and charges and naturalization are different and I thought at that point I was going to get denied. Then two mins later, she said congratulations I am approving your application, oath will be scheduled within two weeks! By the time I had left and got to my car, uscis website was updated to approval and oath will be scheduled. Timeline:
Applied for n400: June 2 2021
Biometrics reused notice: June 2 2021
Interview scheduled notice: December 7, 2021
Interview Houston : Jan 7, 2022 APPROVED!
Oath ceremony to be scheduled.

N400 Application pending since March 2021.
Our PD for N400 25th Feb 2021. But USCIS notification was recd on March 26th 2021. Since then we have been waiting for Interview . We thought USCIS would schedule interviews for both myself & Spouse being Senior citizens of 82 and 74 yrs respectively. Our Field office is Sacramento. Is there any way to contact USCIS to find out the status , if so how to contact or can I send message through USCIS message box.

I-751 being updated after N-400 interview was scheduled

Happy New Year, and good luck with your process!
My interview for form N-400 Application for Naturalization is taking place next month. I have not received the interview notice yet; however, I got an email saying that my case has been updated. A few days later, I got another email notification saying that my I-751 was transferred to another USCIS office; mind you, my I-751 was approved a few months ago, and my 10-year green card is on hand. Is this supposed to happen when your interview is approaching? Any idea what is going on with my case?
