Hey guys,
My interview was schedule for April 8,2017 but unfortunately I received a letter stating that, do to unfortunate circumstances they neeeded to reschedule my interview. Have anyone experienced this? If so how long was the waiting time?

Hi Guys,
This website has helped me lot and many thanks to members who have shared their expediences.
Here is my experience with the naturalization process.
I waited till the 9th year after getting my GC to apply for citizenship.
GC was expiring April 2017 and I completed and mailed the N400 in August 2016 for me and my wife.
Bio metrics was completed 09/13/2016 and then the wait began. Was getting nervous as the GC expiry was approaching in 2017. Finally got the interview notice for myself in first week of Feb 2017
for interview on 28th March 2017. Went with all the documents including 3 year tax history,
driving extract ( had a speeding ticket in Aug 2016. else clean), employment letter etc bu none was asked except the GC, passport and DL.
Interview was in Newark NJ at 1.30 I arrived at 12.30 and was called for interview at 1.15 PM
Was nice and courteous officer who asked questions mostly from the N400. I mentioned about speeding ticket
but she said if fine less than $500 its fine. Then 6 basic questions about civics and the English test.
Was done in 15 minutes. She congratulated me. Had to wait for 2 hours for the naturalization certificate and another hour of the oath ceremony (the last of the day). Everyting was done and certificate in hand by 5 PM.
Glad everything was done. My wife's is tomorrow and hopefully that will be smooth too.

Queens (New York) n400 - Still Waiting for Interview

I had applied my n400 in October 2016. Its almost 6 months since I filed my application but I have not received any notice for interview. Following are my timeline:
10/03/2016 - Application Sent to USCIS
10/05/216 - Application Packet Delivered
10/06/2016 - Priority Date Confirmed
11/09/2016 - Biometrics Completed
11/13/2016 - Case is In line for Interview.
Since then nothing has been changed. I don't know how long it will take to have my interview done. If anyone is having the same experience, please share it.

Citizenship Status
Hello Everyone!
I applied for my citizenship by Feb 27th (sent). I received a text they received it and also created an account that I got notified as well. NOA received on March 7th and Today I received a changed in the status stating I've been schedule for fingerprints. My closest is in Oaklstudying field office in Fort Lauderdale. I guess it is time to start studying!

Yesterday was my interview and the officer was a very nice person. The interview last about 20 mins. And she recommended my case for approval. Last night I check my status and says "we have scheduled and oath appointment for you". This morning I checked my account again and I already have my oath appointment scheduled in two weeks.
