I have attended visa interview on 02-Sep-2015 in Chennai, Given blue slip by opting "Additional Administration Processing is required to take final decision" only one option (checkbox) though interview was well. VO collected all the documents including original 797 approval form (except passport), i do not know what would be reason. Praying to god & waiting for positive sign.
Loosing hopes as it is close to 5 months....

I wanted to share my 221g experience which could be uesful for others.
I had my interview on 02-Nov-15. I was given a 221g Blue slip to submit contract letter and project description from the employer.[Counter -26]
Document submitted on 13-Nov-15 by the employer through email.
First Status Change after doc submission : 07-Dec-15
Mail for passport submission on 29-Dec-15
Passport Submission: 30-Dec-15
Second Status Update: 07-Jan-16
H4 applications[spouse & kid] approved on 08-JAN-16. My H1 application is still in AP
Expecting my visa approval in a day or two.

Update: Received email saying process is complete... Asked to submit passport on 31st Dec. Deposited passport on 4th Jan. Awaiting further update.

My interview was in kolkata on 24th dec 2015 they asked me from where did you come to know about this university i told them from my school as my school is also accredited by the same board this univeristy is they told me thats impossible and told me to wait for some time after 40min they called me again and asked me for my document of pervious qualification i hand over them all my document and they said wait for few more mins after 1 and half hour they called me again and said they need more time and hand over me white slip on which was written 221g i already had gave them all my document related to my pervious qualification on the spot. There was no check on any box The slip they gave me expect one ''your application requires additional administration processing before a final decision can be made.............so on" what should i do do i need to send them any additional document and how much time it can take for verification

Hello Friends,
On 7th Oct i was issues white slip and my case was sent to AP aka 221g. Submitted documents asked on 20th oct and since then there has been no updates. I keep on checking with NVC and Consulate but same standard reply.
Meanwhile my current organisation offered to file a cap exempt visa for me as i already have approved petition from external firm which went to 221g.
are there any such cases who have successfully got visa stamped after changing sponsor post 221g from the previous employer. Please help/suggest if that is the right way to proceed.

I am a researcher in biotechnology area. Had scheduled interview on 25/6/2015, but due to technical problem during that week was asked to reschedule it. So got dates of July end. VO asked about my research field. nature of work and gave 221 g.
Submitted the documents through email in first week of August. Still under administration process. status is also not updated, same as interview date. Wrote to ustraveldocs thrice and same reply .-AP
