I have background in biology research so I was expecting this 221 G. The moment visa officer heard my job title, he was startled and asked what kind of research I am into. And some more questions about my employer. He gave me green slip, saying he needs additional documents to process my stamping. Although I mentioned I have all the documents with me, he did not want to look at them and said they need to be submitted electronically.

Attended visa interview for H1 extension. VO returned PP with white slip requesting client letter, petition, employment contract, W2 for 2 years. Deposited all documents requested along with PP. Client does not provide letter as per their policy so provided letter from employer explaining the same..

I had H1 interview on 21/12/2015. I am doing research in chemical engineering, so its on TAL. I got a 221g white slip. They asked me to submit resume/CV and research plans. I submitted them through email on the same day.
On 22/12/2015 the status in the CEAC tracker updated to 22/12/2015 and shows administrative processing.
I emailed consulate once and they sent me a standard email. They said the processing time currently is 3-4 weeks.
On January 12, 2016, the tracker still shows administrative processing.

Had my interview on 20th November 2015. VO asked basic questions and then asked me to submit all the documents given by my petitioner and issued 221(g)
Got a call on 24th November 2015 to attend the interview again on 27th November 2015.
27th November 2015 Attended the interview again. 221g issued and asked to submit tax and employee related documents along with passport.
30th November 2015 Submitted the Documents.
1st December Status changed from 27th November to 1st December
2nd December got a mail from NIV to submitt some additional Documents.
31st December Submoitted the Documents
11th Jan status changed to issued.
12th Jan Document Ready for Pick up.
Picked up my Passport Today!!!!! :)

I have appeared visa interview at US embassy new delhi on Sept 1, 2015.VO only asked few questions and then asked for W2, petition along with passport. I am full time employee with health care agency and after I-140 cleared (3 years extension) attended visa stamping. My wife and son already received visa stamping through drop box on August 30, 2015 but after my interview case is under administrative processing, no status changed since the beginning. On dated Sept 12 received passport with 221 g asking for please submit all the W2 since 2010 which was submitted on Sept 14, 2015 along with passport. Worried about kids education and health problems of my son.
Needs guidance/suggestions...
