Got White 221 G white slip on 4th Dec. and got a call from them on 8th I got a call but i missed the call as my US number was not working then sent an email to me give my phone number , I sent the phone number on same day 8th Dec. but then after there was no response till 14th Dec . on 14th Dec I got call asked some questions about work location and LCA. then ask me to wait till they asked to submit the passport. Will keep you guys posted as soon as i have some status.

I answered all questions asked by VO officer. She said it will need a couple of days and they will contact me by email and then I have drop off my passport. She also said I don't have to come for interview again.
I have my I-140 approved, I really did not think I will face any issue. I was living in USA for last 7 years, first 3 on L1B and then last 4 on H1B extensions with another employer. I have got 4 stamping so far without any issues and have been working in It for last 16 years. My wife and kid is in USA and I had come for a medical emergency of my mother and was planning to go back on 10th Dec. I hope I get it by 10th then I wont loose my air fare.
This is fun...something interesting happening in life.I feel worried and alive again. :-)

Received email from consulate asking to submit passport along with the 221g on friday. 4th Dec at 2:30 pm.
Submitted them on Monday 7/12/2015.
Got Passport with VISA stamp back on Thursday 10/12/2015

i appeared h1b visa interview on 9th dec 2015 he asked a formal questions and he said your visa is approved but we need some additional administrative process ,he given 221g blue slip he checked that requires AAP and he striked out before final decision can be made and he collected my passport . is anyone on the sameboat tell me how many days to get approved.

My interview was on 11/30/15. The visa officer asked me the regular questions
my role in the company?
working as a client to the company or direct hire?
About my master degree?
Then she said for some reason my I-797 is not updated in their system and collected my passport and said it might take 5 days instead of 2 days to get approved and issued me 221g blue slip.
Since due to floods in chennai the consulate was closed for a week after my interview, i waited and two days back i called the consulate and they said if 221g was issued then it might take even 60 days depending on case.
I checked my status today it did not change from administrative processing but the status was updated yesterday (12/10/15).

VO Comments: Asked if I have a resume which I did. She looked at my resume and typed something. Took my passport and resume. Issued a blue 221g. Administrative processing required box checked. No documents were asked for submission.
Update 12/09/15: The status of the visa is "Issued". It is in final processing. Hope to collect the passport by next week.

Yesterday, I had visa interview and was given blue slip with "Your application requires further administrative processing" checked. Within 1 hr, I received email from [email protected] stating that I need to submit my resume. I later replied in an hour back to the same email attaching my resume and later got an automated confirmation email.
Wondering if I sent my resume to right email address and would like to know if I need to send resume to some other email address as well?
Is there any way we can confirm if they have received ?
