12/29/2015 - Submitted a copy of the document + Passport at the document submission center
12/30/2015 - Tracked passport and recieved by Consulate
01/01/2016 - Consulate Closed followed by weekend
01//04/2016 - Passport issued and collected same day. 3rd Business Day after 221G was issued.
All of this process was complete within 3 business days of US consulate receiving my document. Do not get bogged down with all the posts mentioned here since each case is truely unique.

I have attended interview on 9th November, VO asked basic questions, like client, petitioner,salary,location and client agreement.
after that asked me to wait in lobby then called to another counter there they took my petition and client agreement and returned my passports.
On Dec 16th mailed to consulate asking for status update of my case, on 18th received call from HYD consulate and asked me to submit contact details of my client, on the same day mailed details.
Still status shows Admin processing Date:9th Nov 15.

I had been to H1B interview in Mumbai consulate on 25th, After interview with VO, he returned my passport and issued me a white slip with expecting all the Petitioner documents. Now I have forwarded white slip to the Petitioner. waiting for Petitioner to act on this. Requested documents not yet submitted by Petitioner to Consulate. Fingers crossed.

VO asked normal generic questions and asked for client name, project documentation. Asked me wait for 30 min by giving yellow paper, after 30min called me and gave me 221g blue slip mentioning that "It is good that you need not come to interview again, please check the visa status online using your tracker ID mentioned in blue slip".
My case is very unfortunate, initially he gave me white pamphlet( employee rights booklet) and after few seconds changed his mind and gave me 221g blue slip. In the blue slip just checked "need further admin processing" apart from that nothing was checked.
Can I expect good news ? Anybody attended interview on Nov 6th 2015 ?

Interview on 12/2/2015. At the consulate I was taken away from the line and a guy took my passport and I-797 notice. Later he returned it to me and asked to join the general line again.
Visa officer asked general questions about work and background. He also asked how I qualify for O1 visa. Most of the time he was typing or checking something on the screen. He then went to talk to someone for 5 minutes and looked like they were discussing my case. He came back and gave me a green slip and told to submit all the documents on the email id written on the slip. He said the processing takes minimum 2 weeks and said he has made a note that I need to leave by 25th December 2015.
I submitted the documents on 12/5/2015 and got automated receipt email.
12/22/2015: No update yet, still says AP.
12/29/2015: Consulate emailed asking to submit passport
12/30/2015: Submitted passport
12/31/2015: Status update, still said AP
1/4/2015: Status changed to issued
