Status update date changed on 7-27-2015 and status was same (admin processing). Status changed to issued on 7-31-2015 and got SMS in the afternoon that passport is ready for pickup. I believe my application was approved after security check as VO didn't ask for any documents.

Attended interview on 27th July 2015.
VO took client letter, client vendor agreement and Vendor petition to USCIS and issued 221g white form without any documents asked. Just a tick mark for Admin processing to take a final decision.

I am a phd student applied for J1 visa for my postdoctoral studies. In interview (8th may 2015), they asked me about my research and fellowship and given a white slip (221g) form and asked me to check my mail.
I got a mail to submit my CV research proposal and my publications, which I have sent on the same day.
CEAC status showing the administrative processing and updated on 8th may 2015. My joining date in US is july 1st. Still I didn't get any updates from the CEAC. Tried calling the Washington DOS, didn't get any more information.
