Feb 9 - Interview. Regular qns and issued 221G requesting addl docs like contract b/w petitioner n client, client letter, location, timeline and project description
Feb 14 - submitted the docs
Mar 7 - Status date changed to Mar 7
Mar 13 - still no response and waiting
Mar 30 - Status date to Mar 30. But still Administrative Processing. No Email yet. What does that Mean
Apr 9 - When i called National Visa Center, they updated that consulate will contact you soon to request the passport
Apr 15 - Received Email from ChennalH&L to submit my passport
Apr 17 - Status changed to issued and collected the passport back from USTravelDocs. I did not wait for email from them but called them as soon as i saw status changed.
Good luck for all those waiting for 221G approval. It takes fu****g time but eventually you get it.For me it took around 70 days. Just hang and enjoy then.

This is my 221g experiance.
Consulate interview on 5th March
Counselor asked routine questions and I answered accordingly. He asked for project document for "In-house project" which I don't have.
He gave me 221(g) blue sheet to submit project doc in PDF format via email.
Submitted doc on April 8th
Got response from Consulate on same day April 8th to submit Passport
Submitted passport on 10th April
Status update date changed to 13th April but still status is "Admin process"
Status changed to "Issued" on 15th April.
Got email to collect passport on 16th April.
Passport collected on 17th April with VISA stamp.
All the best for all 221(g). We just need to wait for some time. That's it.

Its a very good forum, helped me predicting my visa case status.
Here are details about my case-
Interview > 3-11-2015, interview went for 1 minute, about where i am going and what i wil be doing. I am postdoctoral associate in biological sciences.
VO asked me to go to window number 9 and i got white slip with tick mark to send resume, invitation letter travel plan etc, and they kept my passport and 797... I submitted documents on 3-12-2015
Status Update - 3-12-2015- AP
Status Update- 4-15-2015- AP
Status Update - 4-16-2015- Issued
4-17-2015 at 3.20 pm Got email, to pick up passport. Status at CEAC still showing issued, but ustraveldoc.com login shows ready for pick up.

4/10/2015: Submitted passports at VFS and hoping to get my passport with visa stamped in 3-4 days.
4/9/2015: Got email from US travel Docs to submit passports for final processing.DOS still shows case updated date as 3/10/2015
3/10/205: The interview went well and the consular officer seem to be impressed by knowing the Company, Client and salary I make. She expressed little disappointment of not being able to issue me a visa as it needs further processing. No documents asked handed over a white slip with "This office will contact you via email" box checked. This is my third time stamping, first one took 12 months, the second 1 month and I am hoping for a quick turnaround

Interview went very smoothly. However, gave my passport back and said my case needs mandatory admin processing. Got an email after the interview with a questionnaire and list of documents to submit (resume, invitation letter). Submitted on Mar 01. Status shows Admin Processing. Most likely the processing related to the field I work.
Any TAL 221g cases update from hyderabad consulate??
Update 08 Apr 3 pm: Got an email to submit passport. (AP)
Apr 10 Submitted Passport at 10 am (Hyderabad)
First status update 2 pm: Apr 13 AP
Second update Apr 14 around 3 pm Issued

I just wanted to share my experience during the visa interview.
Had interview on Feb 18, got green slip to submit some documents.
Submitted the documents on Feb 19th. Never got a email confirmation regarding documents submission. I called the customer support and submitted the documents again through email.
After 46 days, received email to submit the passport. After three more days got email to collect passport. It took 51 days from date of interview to getting passport.
The status remained as Administrative Processing till the day I got email to pick passport after which it was showing as Issued. The status date changed only on the day I got the email to submit the passport.

I had visa interview on 15th Sept 2014 and got white 221g slip to submit documents, copy of petition, LCA, employer letter and client letter.

document email: 22 Sept 2014 got automated email response that they got documents.
since then i never followed up, as per my employer USCIS visited end client site around 5th March 2015.
I got email from them this week to submit passport and other document (they didn't mention what other document to submit) : 14th April 2015
I have submitted my Passport today: 16th April 2015. CEAC status still show Admin processing still old date 16 Sept 2014.

Inverview was on 9th april. 2-3 question asked then handed over blue 221g sheet. Got email from consulate with a word document asking for required documents like resume, us invite letter etc.
Sent the documents via emal on 11th april.

2nd status update dated 15th april -- giving pending information
3rd status update dated 16th april -- says Issued
