Should I apply for AP If my DACA is expiring before travel date?
Hello,

So I have this dilemma, I have the opportunity to travel abroad for a school sponsored educational trip to Europe but my DACA permit expires before my travel date. My DACA permit is already in the renewal process but would like to know if anyone has applied for AP before receiving their DACA renewal?

DACA expires early March.
DACA renewal received on Oct 18.
Travel date is early May.

I would appreciate your positive feedback, thank you!

Will my Advance Parole get delayed?
Hello,

I filed my I-131 along with AOS documents. Now I have some issues with Affidavit of Support. We need to travel outside the country in a month, will AP be delayed along with other documents? Or is AP separate from other files? Please let me know. Thank you... T-T

[Urgent] Traveling abroad after married to US Citizen
Hello,

I am a US Citizen and my wife is here with F1 visa. We were married 5 months ago.

We applied for AOS and AP at the end of August but because of my income issues we still haven't received neither. Today we received a letter saying they need more information from us.

The problem is, we need to travel abroad on Dec 14th for wedding our reception. Everything is all planned out and hundreds of people are invited(now you see the urgency).

Is there any chance to receive the AP before our departure if I send back the requested documents?
What would be the consequence of leaving without AP?
Will my wife have any trouble re-entering the US? (her F1 is still active)

What are my options? Please help...

Traveling with daca advanced parole under Trump
I have applied to get an Advance parole, Immigration received the application on Oct 24.2016. I am traveling to Uruguay for work from Dec 5,2016 to April of 2017. I am still waiting for my approval. Any one traveling next year as well? I am worried Trump will cancel DACA during my stay outside of the US. Would the advance parole work even if DACA gets cancelled?

If anyone knows any info, please let me know.

Thanks,

Mariana.

advanced parole
I have applied to get the advanced parole (I-131) and I-485 in September 2016. I received a letter saying they received them in October. However, I realized that I chose the wrong option in part 2 (Application type). I chose that I am permanent resident instead I am applying for an advanced parole.
what should I do to fix that? should I apply for advanced parole again or wait till they send me letter saying I choose the wrong option?

Advanced Parole ( DACA )
Hi everyone!
*I recently just got approved for advanced parole after 4 months.*

After 45 years of marriage my grandpa cheated on my grandmother and she became severely depressed/suicidal. :( I also haven't been to Brazil in 15 years so I applied in May 2016 for AP and in June they sent a letter saying they recieved it but it was missing information. My lawyer filled in the missing information and sent it back. At the end of July beginning of August I received another letter asking me for proof that my grandma is actually my grandma and for me to ask for another date since the date had already passed (July 1, 2016). We sent my birth certificate, My grandmothers, my moms, and even my dad. I also sent in more of proof (medical notes) that my grandmother is depressed (she's on meds and has a psychiatrist).. In about 3-4 weeks my advanced parole was approved and a week later the official document came in! They gave me from september 25. - november 30 and I am going october 30 and staying until november 18! Im going through Delta airlines..but I'm a bit worried about the reentry since the AP document isn't a guaranteed reentry pass. 3 of my friends have went to BRAZIL with ap And had absolutely no problems except sometimes brazilian officers didn't know what advanced parole is. Can anyone share their experience with me? Anybody else went to Brazil? Or through delta?

Advance Parole, good idea?
Hi!

I'm Edgar, i was approved for my DACA permit around 2013. I have already renewed my permit and recently i have consider applying for A.P. to visit my grandma. I have done my research and consulted an attorney about my situation, I'm getting the paperwork necessary however i wanted to get a bit more feedback on how is the process handled and if it is a good idea, you know with the upcoming elections and all.

How long does it take to be approved for AP?

What happens if you have not YET been approved for PA by the dates you have requested?

Would it be better to travel by land or flight to your destination (in my case, Mexico)?
