easy parole
I would like to share my experience on 06-Mar-17 at EWR.
After a long queue of more than hour I got to an Immigration officer, he checked my passport and document, he took me to the other room without asking me a question, Nothing to worry, there were few peoples sitting waiting for their turn, I traveled abroad even after my studies got finished, but my I 485 is pending and I got my I 131 approved before I traveled, It is important to get I 131 approved.
In the second room after 30 min my name called, gave my passport and document back, "Have a good night !!!". It was very easy prole.
Nothing to worry friends, it is not as as we hear from social media, the environment on the airport is liberal, if you have all the documents with you, nothing to worry.

Thank you.

Advance Parole
Hey guys, I have also applied to go to Mexico for advance parole, I sent my application back in December, they received it December 13,2016... I have not received any type of response or request for additional information or any updates whatsoever, Has anyone that has applied in December received anything Yet? My original dates of request to travel were for 1/11/17 - 1/18/17 but it has taken longer than that so I am not sure how will I know what dates they will approve? will it show on the letter once it gets approved or will I have to resubmit an application with different dates? Any advice you guys give is greatly appreciated. I love reading each one of your stories and experiences. Thank you!!!

Is Advance Parole for DACA, the same for people with TPS?
I'm curious as to whether the advance parole for people with DACA is the same for people with TPS? Or are there some differences? My husband had TPS from El Salvador and would like to apply for it but with the new administration, we are afraid they won't let him back in. Does anyone here know some info on this? Thanks!

Advance Parole
Hey guys, I just wanted to share my husbands story and get some advice...
He has applied for advance parole for the second time. He applied the first time at the beginning of last year. But, we chickened out, and he decided not to go after he was approved. With the scare of not knowing what is going to happen with DACA, we took the advice from our lawyer and applied again last month. We have already done a background check at the police station, and nothing at all came up on his record. However, I'm a nervous wreck because I'm afraid they won't let him come back home. Back in 2008, he was pulled over. Basically, because it was 2 am in a small town, where police have nothing better to do. He was taken to the police station, never put in a cell or handcuffed. But, because he was 16 years old and had no parents here, they had to call immigration. From there, they took him to Catholic Charities in Houston. He stayed there until they located his mom in Mexico. When he was taken back to Mexico, they explained to him that this wouldn't hinder his ability to become legal in the future. He was in MX for 2 weeks and then came back illegally. So, has anyone else had two entry's as a minor and still made it back with AP? Will they even see that at the border? Or, do they just see what's on the background check? When he got DACA we had to prove that he was only in MX for a short time. So, they obviously have on record that he went. I'm not sure why it didn't show up in the background check. Possibly because it was through Catholic Charities?

update advanced parole
So nothing has changed so far and yesterday 3/5/17 was three months since they received my application. My application was received at the Nebraska Service Center on December 5, 2016, my travel dates were supposed to be on 12/23/2016-12/26/2016 but obviously it takes longer to be approved so I'm waiting so that they can send me a form to request new travel dates, does anyone know where can i request new travel dates?

My experience
Hi you guys. I finally am able to tell you guys my experience. I honestly was so nervous that I couldn't imagine me coming on herr telling you guys a positive experience. I was scared and nervous and honestly I wish I wouldn't have been as scared,so I could gave enjoyed my time in Mexico and had more time with my grandma.

TIMELINE:
APPLIED OCTOBER
Documents mailed to me status February 16
Documents received 2 days later
Traveled this Monday
Came back this Friday (March 3rd)
I traveled by bus. So they dropped us off at the boarder and we had to basically cross the boarder walking
They separated me from my dad and he has already passed because he is a citizen. They took me to their office and sat me down. Their were 5 people infront of me so it took an hour. I turned off my phone, so my dad started to get worried. But once they called my name it only took 10 minutes. No questions asked. She stamped my AP but not my passport. But I called my lawyer and he said I didn't need the passport stamp just the AP. Overall it was a great experience and if you doubt it take it from me, the most anxiety prone human being it will be okay.

Questions please answer any that you may know
Hey guys!

1. So I've seen some people say that the CBP officers asked for proof that we went where we said we would go. Is this true? If so what kind of proof?

2. I have a citation from when I was young does this count as a reason to not be let back into the US? Ive never been arrested so I don't think my fingerprints where taken but it does show that I have a juvi record because of this. However, its sealed.

3.Can some of you give me examples of things officers asked?

4. if we were caught at the border at 6 years old does anyone know if finger prints would have been taken in 1999?

Traveling with AP experience
My husband is a DACA recipient who received his approved AP on January 30th, 2017. We were very undecided whether to travel or not under the Trump administration. However, I can certainly say that all of the successful stories posted on here gave us the courage and motivation to go ahead and travel abroad (I accompanied him). So here is our experience: We left early on a Saturday morning, February 4th, to Mexico by airplane. We returned the next day, February 5th. Traveling out of the U.S. was fairly easy. Returning was the most difficult part because we didn't know what to expect. We kept thinking of all the horrible things that was happening with immigration under Trump. Dallas, TX was our port of entry. We arrived there that Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival, the first thing we had to do was line up with immigration to the corresponding line which are labeled U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, Visitors, etc. I, myself, am a U.S. citizen, but I didn't want to leave my husband's side so I accompanied him to the "visitors line". Well, he was up first. A CBP officer called him up, but I went with him. The CBP officer only asked three questions. She asked for the purpose of the trip, how long we were over there, and what goods we were bringing. After answering the questions the only thing she asked was, "Why such a short trip?" My husband told her because we had to get back to work on Monday. She then told my husband he would have to in a room to have his documents checked. How terrified we were! I also went with him. It was a room with a lot of people where CBP officers called you up one by one by name similar to the DMV. Here my husband got really nervous because we could hear all the questions the CBP officers were asking the people being called up. We were so scared. The thought of him not being allowed back in the U.S. was so frightening. Then it was his turn. An officer called him up. This time I didn't go with him. The CBP officer handed him his stamped AP and passport. He was only there with the officer for like 10 seconds and then was on his way back to me. Absolutely NO questions were asked. What a HUGE moment of relieve! My husband and I both looked at each other and wanted to cry sooo bad, but had to hold it in. There it was. The moment we were so scared of, happened with no complications. We are so thankful and blessed to have had such a positive experience. We hope that sharing our story will help someone out there. Much love and blessings to all.
