About online account
Hi guys,

Just a quick question please. I am about to file my N-400 application online but confused at one point. Is that online account same as the account we use to see our cases when we check our case status? I think it is not the same account and we need to create a uscis online account but just want to be sure with your approval & experience guys.

Thank you and good luck to all of you.

Your Receipt Number Is An Indication of Interview Waiver
I still have to wait over a year before I can file my I-751, but I found some information that may be of keen interest to you all.

If your I-751 receipt number starts with MSC, your case has been routed for interview scheduling. If your I-751 case starts with any other prefix (e.g. LIN, EAC, VSC, etc.), your case has been routed for an interview waiver determination at your appropriate service center.

If your file your N-400 while your I-751 is pending and you are scheduled for your naturalization interview, bring your spouse with you.

USCIS published all the information herein discussed on October 13, 2020. You may access it here: https://www.dhs.gov/publication/uscis-processing-concurrently-pending-forms-n-400-and-forms-i-751

Hope this helps!

For those who applied to N400 while 751 pending
Hello, thought I would share what a tier 2 agent from USCIS confirmed to me today.

She said that indeed N400 and I751 are adjucated at the same time when you apply to N400 while I751 is pending.

I know it was heard a lot on this forum but she actually confirmed it to me.

Biometric question-I751 California
I was told by an agent today that my background check still hadn't be done and that it can take months...

Yet I applied for I751 Nov 2019...Bio applied July 2020...
Right before that he said that I was in queue for interview.

How can I be in queue for interview without background check? I asked all this and it was a lot of back and forth...

I don't think what he was saying was correct...I feel like it is excuses after excuses to make us wait longer and longer

Then he said that my I751 case was both in a local office and NBC...doesn't make sense to me.(applied N400)

Any thoughts or clarification?

I-751 Rejected Due to Early Filing
Hello!

Our I-751 application was returned due to 2 days earlier of the 90-day period submission. Do we need to resubmit the forms with new dates, add updated supporting documents and update the check to current date?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

Joint Bank Statements RFE
Submitted I-751 in 11/19, and I just got a notice that they sent an RFE (Nebraska service center). I'm guessing it's because we didn't provide enough joint bank statements. We only provided our statement from 10/19. The reason we didn't submit the previous months was because the address was incorrect. We had changed the address a few months prior to a fixer-upper house that we bought and had planned to move in to but never did (renovation guy bailed on us after gutting the home). We didn't want to create confusion with the additional address which may make it seem like we were living separately, and the deed only has my name on it. But since 10/19, the address is the same as our current lease.

So my question is, would it be better to only send the new bank statements since the time I submitted my application? Or should I go years back and include the "incorrect" address which may raise additional questions?

I 751 divorce waiver
Hello everyone,

I have been reading this forum since the start of my journey in 2016 when I got married to my USC spouse. Everything was wonderful and we lived with his family for a year to get on our feet since we were both young at the time (23 and 25) and then leased our own apartment. However, my soon-to-be-ex-husband has requested a divorce after we filed jointly in October 2019. Before I was able to submit a request to switch to a waiver, I received a RFE in August to supplement our jointly filed I-751. We do not have children or a house, but I've compiled an extensive list with bank statements, joint tax returns, joint insurance and letters from friends. He has written a notarized letter as an affidavit signifying we had plans for a future together. I will also be requesting letters from the two therapists I have been seeing for our marriage problems. I've been diagnosed with major depression due to the marital problems and subsequent divorce. I'm including pet adoption papers and vet visits, as well as personal cards from him talking about our love or apologizing for hurting me. Additionally, I will be providing further documents showing I was a beneficiary of his health insurance with invoices throughout the years (4 years). Since we submitted some photos with the joint i751, I will mainly include screenshots of our conversations and maybe a few more photos.

In addition to the evidence I will be submitting for the RFE, I will also be including my written affidavit describing the relationship and include a statement to request a waiver based on termination of the marriage. He filed a "no-fault" expedited divorce, and I declined all spousal support/401k benefits and such, as I don't have any interest in the money, I just wished we could have continue to build a life together. I was waiting for the decree to arrive prior to filing everything and am currently in the 60 day COVID19 flexibility extension for my response.

Anyway, I apologize for the long post. I have been stressing every day and worry about my status here. Please give opinions/advice.

Thank you!
