I-175 waiver(divorced) questions
Hi guys I have couple of questions regarding my case I hope you can help me with,
this is my timeline
I got marride in August 2016
got my first GC July 2017
Filled for I-751 waiver (without my wife) early July 2019
Got 18 month extension late July 2019
Finalized Divorce September 2019
Fingerprint November 2019
my USCIS statuse is (Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
As of December 2, 2019)
my center is Nebraska
I feel like my case is strong because we kept filling for taxes together until she filled for divorce and I submitted a lot of strong evidence that our marriage was bases on good faith and it was truly based on good faith.

so my question is,
When I get the second green card, how long do I have to wait to apply for the citizenship? Is it 3 or 5 years? Do I count from the date I got my first green card or from when I got married?

Lastly, regarding my health insurance. In January of this year I applied for health insurance through HealthCare.gov and I got a plan based on my income and the best plan was through Ambetter from buckeye health plan. I pay a certain amount every month. Will it affect my case because I applied through a governmental company first? I know Trump had issued statements regarding green card holders who get help from the government. Do I fall in that category because I applied through HealthCare.gov?

Lawyer fees for I-751 ROC
Hi guys - what have you paid for Attorney fees (excluding the ~$680 filing fee that goes to USCIS) to your lawyers to file your removal of conditions?
Mine (in the Bay Area) is asking for $1750.

Card Approval?
Hi all!

I thought I'd share my experience with you all since this forum has helped ease my anxieties many times. I got married to my husband in 2015 and received my conditional card in January 2017. I started my application around October 2018 with my lawyer. Through this process I had some problems getting an official receipt and had to go to get my passport stamped just to keep my driver's license valid. Anyways!

TEXAS SERVICE CENTER

11/23/2018- Application Received
11/04/2019- Biometrics Appointment
11/18/2019- Biometrics received and applied to case
03/09/2020- RFE Insufficient Initial Evidence
04/11/2020- RFE Received
05/13/2020- Case Approval

Initial Evidence Given:

Permanent Residence Card
Joint Bank Statements for the last three years
Lease of the year applied, 2018-2019 (RFE needed more evidence we lived together before that)
Joint Tax Returns of two years (RFE needed W2)
3 Affidavit Letters
20 or so pictures

RFE Submitted:

Updated Joint Bank Statements until March 2020
Updated Tax Scripts of the last two years with W2 (plus W2 not originally given, of the tax returns originally sent)
Rent Leases of the previous years, plus an updated one (minus the one given to them already)
Credit card statements of the last two years, with a screenshot of my husband as a cardholder
Xfinity Bill statements with our names on it, of the last year and a half
Georgia Health Directives
Airbnb Receipts
Copy of our driver's license with the same address
4 more affidavits and statements (including one with a third party explaining why we don't have many bills in our name)
25 or so updated pictures

Not sure if case approval means I'll be getting my green card in the mail soon or if I will not have to do an interview. Though I believe so! :) I do have some things I learned through this process:
1.) Send W2s
2.) Send as much evidence as possible, even travel things.
3.) Get health directives if you can! Not only is it helpful, but it is important to have one during this pandemic.
4.) Make sure you look through everything even if you have a lawyer. I had to quality check my RFE two times and ask to add things to my lawyer, who said I didn't need it.
5.) Get affidavits or statements from third parties if you have things you are concerned about ( we didn't have many bills in our names because we lived with other people)

Anyways hopes this helps someone! I'm sending you all good vibes and I hope you all get your green cards soon!

I-751 - Does USC spouse ever need to submit biometrics
I know it is not common, but has anyone ever been faced with a request for the USC Spouse to appear for biometrics?

Please help me
I got my green card in April 2018 but the year on my green card was April 26 2017. Before the end of 2018 December precisely USCIS sent me a letter to remove conditions. I submitted all the requirements for removal of conditions.
Fingerprints- November 2019
By my own calculations with the date on my green card April 26 2017 I am due for citizenship 90 days prior to the expiration (Jan 26-April 26 2020)
So I submitted my N400 march 2020 while I751 is pending. I received receipts two weeks after.

April 7 2020 I received a letter from USCIS that the date on my green card was incorrect. They admitted the error and stated that it no fault of mine.
They stated that the correct date was supposed to be April 2018 which means I am due for removal of conditions between Jan 26 - Apri 2020. Since I have copies of what i submitted before and I only have two weeks to file.
I hurriedly filed jointly again on April 20, 2020 with updated forms and documents.
I submitted the following
Forms i751
Form i90 to replace green card due to incorrect dates
Original copy of Permanent resident card
Lease of agreement in both our names
Copy of electricity bills
Copy of our insurance documents
Copy of our driving license with matching addresses
Copy of our joint bank of America joint checking accounts with debts card
Copy of joint Sam's club accounts
Copy of the title of our car showing joint ownership
Copy of our bus title reservation
3 affidavits from friends and family
Lots of pictures.

Money was cashed, Still waiting for receipts.

Recently, my wife has been abusing me though she has been doing this longtime ago. I documented it we got into argument she hit me to the point that my head was swollen. She destroyed my books and documents n she has sometimes threw my phone to the wall and the screen was broken. The relationships is toxic and I can't go on anymore I want divorce please advice me on what to do, do I need a lawyer?
Can I divorce while i751 is pending?

i 751 approval
hi! i've been freaking out over this whole process because i had to submit my i-751 with a divorce waiver but i finally got approved!! Here's my timeline, my service center was vermont.

May 15 2019 - case received
June 15 2019 - fingerprints done
April 3 2020 - got rfe for insufficient financial evidence
April 24 2020 - rfe response received
May 13 2020 - card production ordered.

It took 12 months altogether, but it would've probably have taken less if I didn't get an rfe. I'm so glad this process is over with! now to wait until i can file for citizenship.

Good luck to all!
