California center timeline
Hello everyone,

Anyone has a I751 timeline from California center?
I am still "early":

File received by USCIS on November 5th 2019, extension received a week later.
Is that true that CA has the longest waiting time?

Thanks in advance.

I-751 approved - California Service Center- Must read,
This forum has helped me a lot. So I decided to share my story/timeline as well. It might help someone out there.

-2 Years green card expired: October 2018
-Applied for I-751 in August 2018
-Received my I-797 Extension letter in September 2018
-Biometrics Appointment: June 2019
- Request for Further Evidence: November 2019, the deadline was Feb. 08, 2020 to submit all the documents. I missed the deadline because of a burglary at home and they stole my letter too along with all the documentation. I never got to physically see the letter. I was out of country when the burglary happened. I called USCIS out of curiosity to get a case status update on Feb. 13, 2020 and they told me that I have just missed my deadline. I was shocked to learn that. They told me clearly that they cannot provide me any extension. They referred my case to Tier 2 customer service, same answer. Tier 2 customer services told me, “It is too late and nothing cannot be done now”. I met an immigration attorney on 02/14/2020, she recommended sending everything anyways. I called USCIS again on 02/14/2020 hoping if I talk to a different Tier 2 Customer service rep, they might be able to help me out. I was right, the second officer I spoke to verbally provided me a list of documents which was requested through that RFE. And she provided me the address where I was supposed to send the documents. She told me to send as much as I can and put a cover letter and explanation letter on top as to why you missed the deadline. I did the same and sent a signed explanation letter and following documents:
Cover letter with bold and all caps subject line saying:
1. Police Department burglary report.
2. Copy of Insurance claim on house burglary.
3. Passport Copies for me and my spouse
4. Driver License copies (I had a different address on my license so I attached a copy of my car registration with same address as that of my spouse and I explained in my cover letter)
5. Marriage Certificate
6. Copies of Itineraries from the trip
7. Copy of Green Card and I-797 extension letter.
8. 2018 Joint tax filing.
9. Joint Phone bill.
10. Joint Utility bill for our house.
11. PG&E bill of our house.
12. Joint Health Insurance coverage for my spouse and me.
13. Joint Auto Insurance
14. Letter of support/Affidavit
15. Private gym membership
16. Latest pictures

-Mailed out documents on Feb. 18, 2020 via USPS priority express mail and I also opted for proof of delivery. I was still not sure if they will accept my late submission or not, I was super stressed and thinking of worst things.
-Feb. 19, 2020- USCIS received my documents and updated my case status the same day to “RFE response was received. USCIS has begun working on your case again...” I was so happy that at least they accepted my late submission.
-Feb. 19-Feb. 27: I was so worried and I checked my case status every single day, LOL. I just did not wanted to miss any other deadline from them. I was hoping for an interview cas we do not have any kids yet and they usually call you for interview if you do not have kids.
-Feb. 27, 2020- “New card is being produced”!!!!!!! WOW!!!!! God is great. My case is approved and I am waiting for my green card to arrive now.
