Canada Visa

Hi Guys,

I had my transit visa approved online on July24 and they had requested passport to be stamped. I sent my passport on Aug3rd, till now it is stuck at VFS center and i did not recieve any email update or tracking number yet. Then i sent an email got the tracking number and escalated my case and it is been 5 days no response yet. I have my flight to catch on Sep21st but my passport is still not reached the embassy. This is a total nightmare for a transit visa process, and being without passport for so many days without knowing the whereabouts. Is there anything i can do to expedite this process? I am also thinking if there is option to log official complaint so that it does not happen to others.

I had applied for my Visitor Visa in the US. I am from Argentina.

This is my timeline:

Application submitted 31July
Biometrics request 13 August
Biometrics done 28 August

Still no news. Someone had the same problem? I sent the web form yesterday, attaching my contract, which started last week. Does it take longer because I am not a US citizen?

I had applied for tourist visa with my parents from USA. Following are the timeline:

Application submitted: 6th Aug 19
Biometrics Collection Letter: 7th Aug 19
Biometrics Completed: 21st Aug 19

For both of my parents its showing below when I goes to: Check full application status > View submitted application or upload documents.

Now I am confused for below reasons:

1) I had already uploaded the mentioned document when I submitted the application.
2) On my parents' dashboard table its still showing "We do not need additional documents" under "Review of additional documents"

So my question is what to do, do they need additional documents or not. If yes, then how to submit since there is no option to upload it as I had already uploaded the asked document with original submission.

I applied for my parents visitor visa from US. they have Indian passport and they have 10 yrs of US visa and they are leaving US on Sept 12th.

Any idea what we are missing and what could cause the delay?

Jul 03 - Submitted the application
Jul 04 - Received Bio metric letter
Jul 22 - Provided Biometrics

There is no latest update since then, does anyone know how to check for the latest update other than checking online.

Aug 11 - I applied for myself and my wife
Aug 12 - Got request for Biometrics on Aug 12 (both)
Aug 13 - Provided Biometrics (both)
Aug 13 - Received Biometrics (both)
Aug 15 - Passport request for mine, still waiting for my wife's

I think I will wait for her application approval as well and then send our passports in one envelope.

Can I send only one return shipping label? They should mail our processed passports together.

Aug 1st- Request for Passport
Aug 5th- Passport Shipped overnight
Aug 6th- Reached VAC
Aug 9th- Processed enveloped dispatched from IRCC
Aug 12th- Processed envelope has been received and is ready for pickup by UPS.

The passport has not been shipped yet and no updates on the UPS tracking number too. Checking with the VAC on chat they mention that they are facing some high volumes and it should be shipped soon.
Anyone got their passport shipped in this week?

Application date: July 16th
Biometric completed -july 23rd
Around 10th aug status was when we will start reviewing your application for eligibility we will let you know.
Yesterday it was changed to we are reviewing your eligibility. Today approval cane at 5:50pm.

Hello Everyone,

I am filling the online form for Canada Visitor visa and I am unable to type my name in the Signature field in Section D for Family Information imm5645 PDF. Please can someone guide if we need to print it , sign it and scan it and upload it back? I am confused because I read some where that for online application we need not sign but this particular section confuses me. Please if someone can suggest what needs to be done.

Our status has changed from we have to start reviewing your eligibility to we are reviewing your eligibility . 3 weeks time over yesterday. Any idea how long it will take.
