Question on Canadian Tourist Visa
I gave my biometrics and got an email from them to send the passport, along with 2 copies of TT Services Consent form and a 19.9 dollar money order for "TT Visa Services service charge"
I am traveling with my wife and 2 children. Do I need to include 2 copies of TT Services consent form for everyone or just one is sufficient?
Do I need to pay 19.9 dollars for everyone? or is one service charge enough.

Request Passport
I just got the letter from IRCC request my passport.
Does anyone know where I send my passport to?
I’m gonna send the package to VAC in Los Angeles, but I don’t know what is the correct address? And how much is VAC fee?

Canda Visa Application from US
24th May: Submitted application online
26th May: Got request for Biometric
Had no date available until 11th so did a walk in
30th May Biometric done
9th June: Passport request
11th June: shipped by UPS overnight.. (consent letter 2 copies, passport request letter, passport and the money order of $19.90)
12th June: reached there at around 10 am ( tracking from ups)
No communication after that about the package, tracking nothing
19th June : checked the portal and saw that there was an update about application being accepted and a start and expiration date, counterfoil document number.
Also said travel document okay to travel with.
Got an email, saying account was updated, assumed it was the same thing.
20th June: no update, checked the tracking from the ups return label number just to see if my package has been shipped.
Finally checked again at 12 pm, said package was dropped at 10:30 am, Assumed that is my passport
21st June: morning got my passport before 8:30 am.
PS: I had not received any communication/ tracking regarding my package being sent to the IRCC. But yes I got my passport on time.
Try sending your application early if you have planned trip.

Watting on passport being sent back
June 13: biometrics submitted
June 17: passport request
June 18: passport sent out with next day return shipping label
June 19: passport delivered to LA VAC
June 21: approved and received work permit, dispatched to LA VAC
June 26: still waitting on the passport, UPS label not updated.
What should I do at this point?

Exceeded processing time
Hi everyone,
This is my timeline:
April 27th : submitted my application
April 28th: confirmation letter
Nothing happened after that. I called CIC and they told me that on May 27th was the last update on my application for biometric and my application in process.
Anyone have met same situation? Or any advice? It took almost two months now :(

Guys need a response
Already done my biometrics on june 7th after that almost 14 days passed no response from cic.
I am traveling back to my country within 2 weeks.
What if get my passport request after i leave USA . Can i send the passport from my home country.
Any reply would be helpful

Canada visitor visa process experience
I would like to share my experience about obtaining Canada visitor visa from USA:
May 19 - Registered on the CIC portal using GC Key to fill the online application
May 22 - Submitted the application form with all the necessary attachments and paid the fees
May 23 - Obtained Biometrics Collection Letter in CIC portal
May 23 - Booked appointment online to provide biometrics at USCIS ASC - the earliest appointment slot was for 2 weeks later
June 7 - Visited USCIS office and gave biometrics (make sure you take your USCIS appointment scheduler letter as well)
June 7 - On the same day, Biometrics details got updated in the CIC portal
June 13 - Obtained the Biometrics Correspondence Letter and Original Passport Request Letter
June 13 - Printed the required documents - Original Passport Request Letter, Consent form (very important - check VFS Canada website to download Consent form and sign)
June 14 - Drove to NYC VAC office near Times Square and submitted the passport with the documents, paid $19.90 with card and provided return envelope with USPS shipping label
June 14 - Same day received email with tracking ID saying the visa application is dispatched to IRCC office; The VFS tracking website also showed the same status
June 17 - Received email that visa application is under process at IRCC office
June 17 - Received another email " Your processed decision envelope has been dispatched from the IRCC Office to the Canada VAC in USA, NY"
June 17 - Checked the CIC portal - status shown as 'A final decision has been made' and displayed the document status with expiry date (indicating visa is approved)
June 18 - Received email "An envelope of your decision that has been processed has been sent from the IRCC office to the Canadian Application Centre,NY"
June 18 - Received another email "Your processed decision envelope has been collected from the Canada VAC in Canada VAC, NY"
June 18 - USPS tracking number got activated (passport was dispatched)
June 19 - Received Passport with Canada visa stamp - multiple entry with visa expiry date of 1 day before passport expiry date
The entire process took almost a month for me. So, if you wish to apply through online, it is advised to plan in advance and apply accordingly.
