- Passport delivered: July 1st
- Got VFS email with tracking number (Passport was sent to IRCC): July 2nd
- Visa application, tracking ID No.20190702xxxx has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office: July 3rd
- Your processed decision envelope has been dispatched from the IRCC Office to the Canada Visa Application Centre in USA, Los Angeles: July 5th
- Passport was sent back to me: July 8th
- Pasdport on my hands: July 10th

After that almost 25 days no response
July 5th* Correspondence Letter
After a minute * Received Orginal Passport Request*
Apply From US , Visit Visa Status for US
** NEED AN OPINION MY DAUGHTER PASSPORT EXPIRING IN 9 MONTHS , CAN I RENEW HER PASSPORT AND SEND THEM BOTH TOGETHER OR EITHER JUST SEND THE ONE WHICH I PUT ON THE PORTAL.*
AS I EMAIL THEM WAITING FOR THERE REPLY, OTHER WISE AFTER 9 MONTHS I HAVE TO RE APPLY FOR HER VISA WHICH IS BIG PROBLEM.

Waiting for passport request after biometrics
Hello, My employer has applied for LMIA based work permit.
Application submitted on June 11th
Biometrics request came on June 12th.
Biometrics enrolled on June 26th and got updated same on IRCC portal.
I have not received the passport request yet.
I am seeing the experiences who are getting passport request within a week are mostly ICT(LMIA exempt) work permit.
Can anyone share the experience of processing LMIA based work permit.

Need help on open spouse visa from usa
Hello all. I am indian citizen , i applied open spouse work permit by may29 , 2019 from usa and did biometric req by 4 june. But i havent received any response from canada embassy regarding passport req or anything.
My wife have valid student permit in canada and i have OPT in usa after study.
Anybody facing the same delay process in open work permit from canadian embassy???

Submitted online application : 22nd June
Biometrics enrollment : 28th June
Biometrics details reflected online : 29th June
Status of medicals changes to Medicals passed : 30th June
No updates since then.
I was told passport request goes out in a day or two after biometrics.

Waiting for passport request
I am in US and submitted my online application to LA. I have to travel to Toronto on Aug 9. I have submitted my tickets also with the application but have not received the Passport request yet. Is there any way to expedite the request?
