Get EAD marrige based without green card
I am married to a US citizen and she is on her residency program. we are planning on staying in the states for 18 months until she finishes residency.
I don't want or need a green card, but i do need to work while we are here.
Is it possible to have marriage based EAD without filling to a green card?

After 9 months (229 days) finally it was my turn.. “New card is being produced “ it was a rough road i mean im still waiting bc i dont have it on hands but at least is moving forward.. fellas i know how it feels but the blessing is coming just hold tight..

EAD Production Notification: Mar 26, 2019
EAD Mail Notification: Mar 29, 2019
EAD Mail Notification with Tracking #: April 1, 2019
EAD Received: April 2, 2019
i-485 Interview: September 30, 2019
i-130 & i-485 Approval Status Update: October 1, 2019
The interview was really short. The IO was extremely pleasant and made us feel really comfortable. He told us that he had already looked at our file and it all seems fine. We took oath. The IO then verified my wife's name, dob, employment and address. He then proceeded to ask me my name, address, employment and a few of the yes/no questions. Of all the evidence we carried, he only looked at our ID cards, recent tax return and a few pictures which he then scanned. That was it, case approved on spot, God is really amazing!

So after a long wait my EAD is getting produced.

Raised an SR on 09/24 which didn’t get assigned to anybody yet.
09/30 A new card is getting produced.
My experience- Whatever you do they take their own sweet time ( bitter for me) to approve it..
And it doesn’t make me any happier coz I’ve lost 2 job offers(kinda dream job) and I don’t have anything in hand as of now.
