08 MAR 19 - Received notice of biometrics info.
26 MAR 19 - Attended biometric appointment.
I''ve been seeing some posts of January filers receiving their EADs which is AWESOME! Congratulations you guys! But then I see some December filers still waiting on their. Weird. Why could that be?
Any marriage based AOS FEB filers waiting for their EADs? Any updates?
Since the timeline changed to 2.5-5 months making the receipt date for case inquiry 06 Mar 19 at their website as of today, I submitted a case inquiry 03 AUG 19. They said I can expect a response by 25 AUG 19.

Hello guys,
National Benefit Center has changed EAD processing time to 2.5-5 months. For people who are outside processing time, did you submitted an inquiry? If so, did you get any respond yet?
Please share your experience
Hi guys! Just want to share my experience because I've been looking up this forum on and off for a few months and I feel it's right to share mine as I've sought comfort in some of yours.
Case: AOS based on marriage (c9)
PD: 28th March (485, 130, 765 and 131), NOA received a week or 2 later.
Biometrics: 25th April
Update case status on USCIS site ''case ready for interview'': May 31st
Nothing since then. I should add though that my dad is gravely unwell and his surgeon and doctor wrote a letter to USCIS as nobody can look after him apart from me so I went to the field office for an INFOPASS appointment and they granted me ADVANCED PAROLE. That was a massive weight off my shoulders let me tell you so now I am unexpectedly travelling home in a few days. With regards to the EAD card who knows how long it will take for now as I'm BROKE between emergency travel plans and just not being able to work. whatever...health is your wealth and all that ok IM RAMBLING haha GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! hope our EADs come soon <3
I am thankful for having this forum available for us May 2019 filers!
So here's my timeline:
May 16, 2019 - I 485, I 765 and AP received by USCIS NBC
June 03, 2019 - received 3 NOAs
June 11, 2019 - received letter for biometrics appointment
June 26, 2019 - biometrics appointment done
June 28, 2019 - Case status online changed to "FINGERPRINT REVIEW WAS COMPLETED"
Now, I got a very promising job offer from a biotech company here in the Bay Area that I cannot put down because it's my dream job.
July 17, 2019 - submitted a congressional expedite request for my i 765 under the "SEVERE FINANCIAL LOSS" category.. sent my supporting documents like my husband's student loan and another remaining loans, an offer letter from the company and a cover letter addressed to the USCIS..
July 26, 2019 - called the USCIS customer care to file a expedite request on my own because I haven't seen any updates from the past week which made me anxious for my offer will start on Aug 12, 2019.
August 1, 2019 - Received an update from my congresswoman's office (their update from USCIS NBC) that my i 765 is routed for expediting...
August 2, 2019 (today) - USCIS emailed me that my case is under review. And on my case status online, here's the update:
"On August 2, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T **** **, was completed."
"On August 2, 2019, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number T **** *."
"On August 2, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T **** *, was assigned to an officer for response."
My question is, how long shall I expect for a reply or update from them? Thankfully, I was able to move my start date to Aug 26.. i am just wondering how most of people with expediting experiences got any update from them after receiving these notifications?
Thank you everyone! Let's fight until we get that green card.. i just cannot wait to start a life with my husband because it is just so depressing to stay at home for months doing nothing.. this is why i decided to expedite. ❤
Do you need employment offer letter before your expedite can be approved? How do you look for job if you don’t have SSN or any previous Authorization card. Any help.
Can someone please help me with a question I have regarding visa appointment for extension of L1B visa.
I am in US on L1B visa which expires on 5th march 2020 and is due for extension only after 5th Sep 2019 (6 months from expiry date). By the time my company's attorney prepares and file for my extension after 5th sep, it would be late sep. Considering long wait times for visa appointment, It would be end of Oct or Nov by when I get an appointment for L1 visa at a US consulate.
My wife and I are expecting our first child by 28th of Dec 2019 and it would be difficult for her to travel after Sep.
Can I request for an expedited appointment for L1B visa interview based on my wife's medical condition as she also plans to go for her L2 visa with me?
We have applied for EAD card in Mid may and my current work permit expires Sep 1st week and no grace period.
I have contacted congressman to expedite request and they submitted it to USCIS on 24th July and from then its been over a week they did not hear anything from USCIS. I am not even sure if they received request or not.
I went to congressman office today and basically they said they cant do anything more other than waiting for response and even after that its not guarantee they will approve or reject the expedite request.
so what should i do now? Any other option than just sitting and waiting that congressman would hear something on expedite request or should i contact senator or ombudsperson or better i raise the expedite request myself with USCIS On call? Time is running out so would like to follow up as much as i can
