EAD approved and mailed to me
After 7 months and 7 days, my EAD was approved and it is supposed to come in the mail on Monday.
I did expedite a month ago, yet, I don't know if this is related to me asking to have it expedited. I got no response whatsoever about it so I am assuming it is just because, after all, it was already over 7 months of waiting. Can't believe all of us are going through this agonizing situation where our lives are pending because they don't care in getting their act together and processing these documents we paid for in a timely manner.

I am relieved, yet, nothing will make me forget how awful and depressing this process has been. I hope they learn how to treat people better.
Good luck everyone and stay strong.

I am sure everyone gets the same standard reply but any one with a similar case? Any timeline on when I might be able to expect a decision?

Expedite request on I-765 (C9)
Based on a pending I-485 application, NBC, NY filer.
PD for I-485, I-139, Dec 13th, 2018.
Received date for I-765, Feb 15th, 2019.

On 06/17/2019, I had to quit my job due to the expiration of my previous EAD card.

On 07/14/2019, We submitted an immigration help case to Sen. Gillibrand's office, asked for help on our I-485 & I-765 cases.

On 07/15/2019, Sen. Gillibrand office got back to us asking for another privacy release form. We called them after we send the email. A young lady was on the phone and told us they are working on it and will meet with their supervisor to discuss our case soon.

On 07/17/2019, Sen. Gillibrand's office called me directly and told me, that my I-485 is still within the normal processing time, what they could do it to help me expedite my I-765 case. She also asked if I have job offer letters, and documents to show my financial loss. And she sent me an email right after the phone call for me to submit my materials.

On 17/23/2019, My husband and I finally finished gathering all the supporting materials, including:
an offer letter from my previous employer. My annual budget report from Jan to Jul, and predicted expense until October, shows that I can't sustain financially for the normal processing time for my I-765.

On 07/19/2019, I Called USCIS and opened an expedite request based on financial loss. The officer on the phone told me that I will receive email from USCIS regarding the submission of my supporting materials within 2-3 days.

On

On 07/25/2019, my case status shows:

She asked some details about my case and after few minutes she said that my case still in the processing time .. After 5 hours I received update of my case that new card is being produce. .I was thinking if my inquiry earlier helps me to get an update of my case... But still thankful regarding the progress of my case. By the way Iam december 2018 filers @ NBC...

EAD timeline
First of all, thank you, guys, for posting all your experiences, you're the main reason I haven't lost my mind completely.
Here's my timeline:
I-485 C9 based, NBC
PD: Nov 2, 2018
Case ready to be scheduled for an interview: March 5, 2019
New card being produced: July 20 2019 (although it changed on the website only on July 22)
Card mailed: July 25 (added tracking # later in the afternoon)
Should receive my card on the 27th. (Which will mark 267 days of waiting)
Still nothing on I-130, I-131, I-485 though

I haven't expedited my case, although I asked my attorney back in October to do it, he said if it gets denied I would have to wait extra 2 months or more. Wanted to contact the Congress person, but again my attorney said it wouldn't help.
On July 16th me case was outside of processing time (after 8.5 months waiting), so we filed SR. Got an email from USCIS 'you should hear back by August 6', and then status changed to 'new card is being produced' 4 days after.
My previous work permit expired in January, I have been unemployed almost 7 months now. Ran out of savings in April. Honestly don't know how we made it till July.
For all those still waiting: hang in there. It's hard, but stressing over things that are out of your control won't do any good.
