FINALLY my case status changed to card being produced
On July 12th I finally received the good news that everybody here is waiting for. You card was ordered!!!!

Here's my timeline:
*Jan 4th - case was received
*Jan 22th - biometrics
*May 21st - sent an expedite request
*May 24th - got a REF letter
*May 30th - H1B expired. Job position will be held for 6 weeks.
*June 10th - evidence was received
*June 11th - sent the second expedite request ( i should have sent a request to expedite form I765, not i485).
*June 19th - contacted the senator office(They forgot about my case until I called to follow up a week later. The expedite request was sent on the next day)
*June 20th - case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
*June 28th - sent the third expedite request
*July 9th - faxed supporting documents to USCIS
*July 8th - Senator office wrote: case was routed for expeditious processing. Same day called USCIS to follow up
*July 12th - card was produced

Not sure which expedite request did the wonder. Guys don't give up. There are still hopes.

My question is how long will it take for me to receive the card?

My USC husband petitioned for me and my 9 year old son (both AOS).
We couldn't have gotten a better IO and interview experience. My husband and I prayed before we got inside and we practiced questions in case we got separated. When we met the IO at the door we knew it was going to be smooth sailing for us.
The IO started by introducing himself, telling us about his family and how he got into that line of work. He then asked my husband what job he did and how he got into doing it. They chatted for like 15 mins about sports and I just sat there nodding (lol). After that he said he looked through our file and we will get the green card by August. I said, aren't you going to ask us any questions or take any of our new evidence? He said he will take the oath from us, go through the I-485 questions and do my fingerprints. He said we had lots of evidence already but if I had more he would take it. So we did the oath, questions and fingerprints. I then handed him a table of contents and asked him what he wanted from it. He was very impressed and said i should do immigration law because our file was neat and thorough. He took our new evidence then told us how to remove conditions and apply for citizenship. He then asked my son if we had any pets and their names. My son told him about our cats. He then asked my husband where we met. He asked us if we were going anywhere for the summer and we told him Maryland. He offered a couple places we could see. He then thanked us for coming and walked us out. 2 hours after the interview I got the text, "new card being produced."

I want to thank everyone for their input. I'm glad I found this site before we submitted our package because we did this without a lawyer and got no RFE. By the experiences and suggestions from so many on this site, I felt confident to submit our petition and walk into the interview prepared. For those still waiting, your time will come even though it feels like forever. I distracted myself with projects around the house and got to enjoy the company of my new family members and build the relationship with my hubby. I find having something to do, no matter what it was, helped me to not obsess and check my apps every 2 seconds. All the best guys, feel free to ask me any questions.

L2 EAD SLA (not extension)
Hi All,

My L2 EAD (not extension) was received in the 3rd week of April 2019. However, the status is still received.

1)
I am believing that 60-90 days is the processing time for this. Could someone confirm me once? If there is a possibility to expedite this before 90 days period i.e., before writing to USCIS to notify that it is out-of-processing time.

2)
Whenever I call their customer care, wait time has been 25min or more. Is there any other way to contact or know the current date of application that are being processed?

thanks

Expedite request succeeded - EAD Card in 69 days
I just received a phone call from Congresswoman office that the new card is being produced. 69 days after PD. No lawyer.

05/03/19 PD NBC (Marriage-based)
05/28/19 Biometrics Appointment.
06/25/19 Submitted expedite request using USCIS live chat, based on an existing job offer.
06/27/19 Received email asking for evidence of expedite request, faxed back immediately.
07/08/19 Call local congresswomen (PA) to assist the expedite request, emailed them the supporting documents right away.
07/11/19 USCIS online case status: New Card Is Being Produced

Here are my advice:

-You really don't need an attorney to file I-130, I-485, I-765. At least it won't be faster.

-Be precise and clear on every documentation/ form, any mistake delays the process.

-Be extremely polite when you speak to USCIS Officers or congressman office team. I was very frustrated in numerous times especially I felt like not being provided the answers. But I figured USCIS officers can really make a difference (they submit follow-up service request for you, or tell you if the case was being assigned to an officer) if they feel like helping you.

-Expedite request and local congressman can really help, at least in my case.

Good luck!
