Biometrics- December 25(rescheduled to January 7th due to a holiday)
Case ready to be scheduled for an interview May 15th
No updates for 229 days and July 16 - new card is being produced
No expedite. NBC, filed from Connecticut

Need advise on EAD!!!

I'm a newbie here:) Below is my timeline:
Married to USC. Applied from Minnesota
Received application on 04/22/2019
Bio: 05/20/2019
Waiting for EAD ( today is 85 days since the application received)
Currently, I received a job offer, and they asked me to start the next 2 weeks. I really like the comp and they pay well too. I called USCIS yesterday. They told me there is a backlog, and I probably need to wait 5 more months to get the EAD. It makes me really depressed since we will suffer a considerable financial loss in the next few months. My husband needs to go back to school to finish his degree in Sept. Everything will be messed up if I could not work in the next 5 months.
I submitted the expedite request to USCIS yesterday. I'm planning to submit the request to congressman also, but do not know how to do that. Does anyone have experiences of submitting expedite request to the congressman in Minnesota? Or any advices to my case will be appreciated also.

Just want to cry..
I was so happy when i finally received the letter that my ead is on it's way and after long 9 month the wait soon to be over.. too soon.. cause they delivered it to the wrong address even tho everything is updated for almost a year. I rescheduled delivery with post office, got my confirmation but they still sent it back. Now it can take up to 120 days to receive it again. I am so unbelievable mad and depressed. It was not my fault but I now pay for it..

First call to T2 officer two weeks ago: your application is with its final officer so ead should be soon.
Second call today: application is under extended review.
What does that mean no one seems to know what that is. Is it just something they tell people who are outside normal processing time?
They couldn’t do the extended review in the 9 months they had already?

I applied for the EAD/AP combo card. No updates on the AP application, but some say the EAD card will indicate that it serves as AP. Can anyone share their experience?

Not starting out well!
On an L2, sent application for EAD which was received by USCIS on 28th June 2019. Now 15th July 2019 and haven't even got receipt confirmation yet....I hope this doesn't set the tone for the whole experience!

Received interview notice 06/25/2019, interview scheduled for 08/12/2019.
Expedited I-765 through congressman on 06/25/2019 with my current job paycheck, employment verification as well as offer letter. (I have been working since May, and my current OPT expires on 07/15/2019.) My husband is also an US military, so I mentioned in my letter that one day without employment will hurt us as a military family.
Got a response from the congressman office on 07/02/2019 that USCIS will notify their decision within 30 days
Expedited again through senator 07/09/2019
Got a notice today that new card is being produced!
My suggestion is that do not seat there and wait in silence. Do whatever you can, reach out to your congressman, and expedite. Your case is probably sitting on the desk if you don't make them aware of your case. Good luck!!
