RFE
Hi everyone,

I filed I-485, I-765 and I-485 on December 14th, 2018. I didn't hear a thing until June 27th when I received and RFE. They were asking for a copy of my birth certificate which I had already provided with my original application.

My question is, when a RFE is received, does this delay the process even more? Or should I be happy because at least my file has been opened and my case is being evaluated?

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks

EAD
Hi all,

I've submitted an expedite request and it was denied describing I haven't provided evidences to meet the criteria so, I called USCIS to explain I wasn't asked to provide any documentation and I was going to lose my job and the T2 agent told me to mail all support documents to NBC even with with my denied expedite request. Have any of you had a similar situation?

Thanks

Card in production
I’ve got an email this morning
“New Card is being produced” for I-765
Had I-485 interview 6/27 . Not sure why they are sending the EAD & not the green card

I got an RFE 7/5 for medical exam and delivered to them on 7/8
Although I am happy this has me worried

Why wouldn’t they send green card ???

Im so frustrated
Hi guys, Anybody is from HOUSTON TX on here?
So my case was received on Jan 9th and my biometrics was done on Feb 4th and they processed it on the next day. It has been 6 months since my biometrics and my work permit is still not processed, i check my status and it still says “Fingerprint review completed”...HOWEVER, my I-485 is “Ready To be Scheduled for An Interview” on June 28th. Do you guys know how much longer do i have to wait for my ead card? And if youre from houston, did you contact any congressman???

EAD
I have been a silent reader for months, and I want to share my experience.
-Pd: 3/8/19 family based, NBC
-expedite request: 6/11/19 Job said If dont show EAD by July 19th I am out. severe financial loss since Wife doesnt start new job til 9/1/19, and even that wont be enough to cover both expenses. Faxed proof and bills and employer letter on 6/27/19
-congressman help: 7/2/19, they submitted an expedite for me, (2nd expedite)
-called USCIS twice and nothing, they dont care.
-7/10: congressman inquired again and they said the case is still under review blah blah blah

I already know I am gonna be out of a job, I started interviewing other places, but It is pointless because if I do get another offer the EAD will definitely not arrive in time based on how USCIS handles everything.

1. How do they decide what service center they send the ead form to? NBC is the worst, why did my application end up there?
2. looks like from my experience and others here, the congressman help is useless. It is all about luck, nothing else
3. USCIS obviously doesnt care, Trump definitely made this worst for everyone, there are no guidelines or procedures being followed. If USCIS doesnt stick to their rules, why should we? we paid for these paperwork and lawyers, thousands of dollars. There has to be a way to beat this system and be able to work without EAD. or else we are gonna be waiting for nothing because it may not even arrive. there has to be a way to beat Everify and this work permit s**it.

I feel they are walking all over us immigrants, and god and prayers wont do. There must be something we can do to fight this back.
