Expediting
Hi everyone!
Timeline:
PD: 03/01/19
Biometrics: 03/28/19
Case ready to be scheduled for an interview: 06/16/19
Center: Newark- NBC
Marriage based

I have a question regarding expediting. I’ve seen a lot of people expedite due to job-offers/financial hardship. I wanted to ask if anyone has applied due to a family member being sick. My situation is that my grandma’s health is getting worse and worse and I’m afraid. I want to go see her so bad but don’t have my EAD. Is there any chance of getting to expedite the EAD so I can go see her? Does anyone have experience with this?

Getting EAD Card
I was wondering how long it takes to receive the EAD Card. The status has been "New card being Produced" for almost a week now. Is the status supposed to change or will they just mail it?

EAD
234 days in.. PD November 9, marriage based. Newark, Delaware.
Interview is ready to be scheduled since May 1st.
I feel like am going nuts. The wait is so frustrating, my Travel document will be out of processing time on Wednesday. You really kind of lose hope as other people are getting it and nothing changes on your side. Any November fillers out there ?

EAD
Guys i just want to share my experience since all of you
are the reason why I am still sane right now. This forum
Help me a lot to be patient and to have an idea to contact
the congressman

March 8 2019- they received our application AOS through
marriage and EAD and travel permit
March 15 2019 biometrics
April 9, 2019 they requested for RFE
April 16 The status for I-485 changed to As of April 16, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485
After that nothing has changed
June 21, 2019- I contacted our congressman because I have a job offer and Its been 90 days and I really need a job because we need to get our own apartment
Congressman send me a privacy release letter and want me to attach the job offer. And also you need to explain your situation on the privacy release
June 27 2019 I called the congressman and they told me that the uscis told them that they need 30 days to review my case. I felt sad but theres nothing else i can do
but to trust the process since I already did whatever I can to make it expedited.
July 1 2019 I received a text from USCIS About an update . i checked it then I burst in to tears New Card Is Being Produced
On July 1, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number and will mail it to the address you gave us

That was 115 days of waiting and thank God its over.

Try to contact your congressman or senator.
I am not assuring you that all of them will help. But there is no harm on trying.
